The food was outstanding from start to finish. The escargot was perfectly prepared, the Beef Wellington was exceptional, the French onion consommé was rich and comforting, and the chocolate soufflé was the perfect ending. Every dish felt special. They offer both a three-course prix fixe and a seven-course tasting menu, which makes the experience feel even more elevated. Yes, it’s expensive—but absolutely worth it for a special occasion or a truly memorable night out. The pianist sat right in front of us and played so gently it felt like the music was floating in the background—elegant, intimate, and unforgettable. The service was impeccable, the cocktails were just as wonderful as the food, and the entire evening felt incredibly romantic. A truly unforgettable dining experience and easily one of the most romantic restaurants in New York.
French soup, salmon, chocolate
Thise were my 3 along with an “Oldest Fashioned”
Every course we had was simply delicious. A lot of care goes into plating the dish and the presentation when serving it
This is a 5 Star experience with a 5 Star price…worth every penny
I overall like the restaurant! Dim lighting, piano, tables are so nice. Price is super high though! They force you to order 3 course meal which is 160$ for each person and at the end of the night we ended up paying 500 dollars for 2 people. I think it’s way too much for the food, service and experience we’ve received. It’s super overpriced. And our waiter smelled stinky.. he definitely needed a shower..unfortunately.
The location itself is so mysterious — hidden down a quiet cobblestone street, behind a beautiful old facade that feels like a portal to another world. Inside, the candlelight, soft piano music, and garden views created a setting that was intimate, elegant, and absolutely timeless.
We were seated at the perfect corner table near the piano bar. To my left, a beautiful garden view framed the evening with even more charm. It felt so private and romantic — as if the city had disappeared for a night, just for us.
The food was exquisite. Every dish was gorgeous and full of flavor. The Beef Wellington was divine — truly one of the best we’ve ever had. And the champagne? Effortlessly luxurious and so celebratory.
The service was flawless, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. They made my birthday feel incredibly special, with every detail handled with care.
A magical evening in a place that feels hidden, timeless, and full of love. Truly one of the most romantic dining experiences in the city — or anywhere
The dessert was special. This is definitely a place you will want to experience.
