I called in my order from home. I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes; 15 minutes I arrived and still waited another 20 minutes for my food. I could tell by the atmosphere and interaction with the staff that something was different. I asked if they were under new management/ownership and was told “yes”. My food was overcooked and didn’t taste good. The restaurant has taken a drastic change for the worst under new management/ownership.

The Oolong Tea came in a small tea pot, it was hot water and 1-stale barely noticeable as oolong tea tea bag in the hot water. The Egg Foo Young was properly cooked except it had Zero flavor as it came served unseasoned. The Brown Gravy was bland and had no seasoning as well, it also had lumps in it. They could stand to put more effort into respecting proper culinary etiquette.

The location is great as well as the service. The food on the other hand ….NO! It did not taste like traditional Chinese food. The bourdon chicken and sesame chicken was too spicy, too sweet, and too soupy to the point I thought it really wasn’t what I actually ordered. The bourbon and sesame chicken broth tasted the same. It was just horrible. I wouldn’t order the food again. The egg rolls and crab rangoons were actually good.

Restaurant was clean and server was polite. My Hot Sour Soup was luke warm like it was microwaved perhaps left over from a previous day. My Mom and I both ordered Honey Chicken. It seemed like it was reheated. We both became ill with nausea and diarrhea with a few hours of eating. We have not eaten anything else this day. To pay over 40.00 buck for lunch and get sick is unacceptable. Clearly some food handling issues. We left with left overs as neither wanted to say it was bad at the time. This had been thrown away.Our food was clearly reheated and not made fresh. Still sick As I am typing this.

Tonight was the worse experience I have ever had with this location I have always supported this establishment but I am reluctant to use the one on Augusta rd.
I have never had a bad experience from the woodruff road store.anyway. the picture below are what my Togo food looked like..
I heard the workers behind the counter saying something about the lids on the Togo containers for the sauces . I didnt pay attention but what a mess. The chicken lomaine was turned over in the bag and the white sauce and teriyaki sauce you can see in the photos what a mess.. I wont go to the Augusta road store. It’s worth the drive to go to the woodruff store. Or just find something else.

This was the worst food I’ve had in a long time. This is SUPPOSTED to be chicken. Looks raw. All I could eat was the rice, which wasn’t done either. Didn’t want to risk eating the veggies that was mixed with the chicken. Wished I looked at the reviews before I stopped in. Do not understand how they have awards hanging and packed. This is so not worth 13.00. It’s not even worth the one star.
