This restaurant the food it’s actually very good. Come hungry they serve large portions. Make a reservation. Because it can be 30 to 45 min or more wait without a reservation. Takes a while to get a server attention. The spicy bloody mary was a 5 stars. Parking is somewhat east across the street parking lot. Can be very noisy

We went to Toast in a Tuesday around noon. Both metered parking lots were full. We happened to go as they were setting up for an outdoor concert in an open gazebo area across the street ( and diagonal) from Toast.
We did finally get a spot about a block and a half away.
We were sat right away. I would say the dining room was almost full. We were just two people but were sat at a table for large parties and were told if necessary they would sit another couple on the far end of the table. Which eventually did happen. There are also some tables outside. They adverise that they are pet friendly in that area.
Our waitress came over fairly quickly and took our drink order ( 2 ice waters, i know , dull) while we looked over their fairly large menu.
My son oredered a short stack of sweet potato honey butter pancakes and asked for real maple syrup which they give you for a $2.00 upcharge. And he also ordered a side of french fries.
I ordered the grilled cheese trio with french fries and a pickle.
The food was brought out fairly quickly and I have to say they were hearty portions. My son loved his pancakes with the honey butter and I really enjoyed the grilled cheese. Nice thick bread, grilled to perfection with three different cheeses( american, cheddar and swiss) and a couple of slices of tomato , a full pickle, not one of those half jobbies you get elsewhere, and a large portion of french fries which reminded me of Checkers French Fries. Very tasty meal.
Our waitress was attentive, the food was very good, the noise level was low- key and it was easy to talk across the table.

Toast in bay shore was exactly what I was expecting. It was delicious to say the least. Atmosphere was cozy, the selection on the menu was substantial and now I know what I’ll be ordering next time I come here, because I’m definitely coming back! The mimosas were very tasty. A perfect brunch place.

I love Toast! My favorite comfort food/ brunch place. Homey vibes. *Perfect food.* Anything you choose is guaranteed to be delicious. They put care and attention into their recipes. Staff is kind and helpful. I like the Three Ring Circus! (I also think it’s cute how they have a mug collection, so you get a different one everytime)

Toast is amazing carrot cake pancakes are seasonal but must try my only issue with this popular spot is with the service specifically waiting time to be seated. Not sure if they’re understaffed but there’s always a wait for clean up of previously occupied tables still love yall 10 outta 10

I have been at this location multiple times and I can say for sure the food and the service are exceptionally good. It’s always a pleasure to have brunch in here, so much so that it doesn’t matter the wait. The people that works here are always very friendly and helpful. Me, my family and friends love this place very much. The mimosa flights…. Are sooo good too

HUGE fan of Toast. Not only is the location visually stimulating; but I’ve never had a bad meal there! Crazy combinations that will tantalize your tastebuds, portions where you can justify the cost and the coffee is incredible. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Very highly recommend – one of the best spots for breakfast on Long Island.
**UPDATE** Still one of the Kings of Long Island eateries – Never a bad meal is had… I’m always more than pleased and satisfied when it’s time to leave! Make sure to indulge in the sweet sweet deliciousness of Toast. Very highly recommended.
