‍♀️ Good hot Mexican style food, quick quality customer service. My go to menu items are the quesabirrias and quesadillas. They have some pretty good dessert treats as well like the sopapilla bites with the cream dip sauce and chocolate churros. Their online ordering is pretty efficient. I typically order for pickup and go. It’s usually ready by the time I arrive on site. I appreciate the rewards program. Online ordering often offers free menu item through the rewards program if you sign up which is pretty cool. They’re always courteous and customer friendly with me. I wouldn’t go as far as calling the food here authentic Mexican food, but it’s close enough and I’m satisfied with what they have to offer. They serve breakfast menu items all day, any time. They are one of the few good restaurants in the area that stay open late. Lately, I haven’t had any reward offers online and I’m unsure if they still even offer them, but I always appreciated the complimentary rewards offers that I used to get with my online orders at the Turner location on the south side of Abilene. Looking forward to them to began offering rewards of the menu again for online orders.

Stopped by Fuzzy’s Taco Shop here in Abilene and was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. The place was super clean and had a really welcoming vibe. The young ladies at the counter were friendly and upbeat, which made for a great first impression. After placing my order, they handed me a buzzer, but what really stood out was that when my food was ready, someone actually met me halfway to hand it off—great service!

The bar area looked like a fun spot to hang out, with a lively atmosphere and good music. Unfortunately, I was headed to work afterward, so no drinks for me this time—but I’ll definitely be back to check it out more.

Now onto the food—the shrimp and fish tacos were excellent. Super flavorful and fresh, and the tortillas were cooked to perfection with just the right texture. The cilantro lime rice was a definite standout—zesty and packed with flavor. You can tell they put care into how everything is prepared.

Overall, a great experience. Just shy of perfect, but I’ll absolutely be back!

We were traveling through Abilene on a food trip and we saw this restaurant was near our hotel. This is also take out so you can take this review with a grain of salt, it might be better in person. The food would have been good but there was honestly just too much salt for everything, from the chips, tacos and the shrimp quesadilla. Also, the shrimp salad as seen in the picture just had little pieces of shrimp that were shriveled up, the proportion of salad to meat being pretty ridiculous. The big positive though is that for all that we got the bill came out to only around 30 dollars which is honestly really cheap. If seems popular with the locals and is probably better in-person, but this restaurant was honestly a miss. Their tacos were pretty good though, so maybe it’s a gamble to get anything other than that since that’s what they specialize in.

Food was amazing, priced below what I expected, and after food I moved to the bar to have a few drinks. The bartender was attentive, on point, a conversationalist and made the experience wonderful despite some unruly guests. I will definitely visit this establishment again.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Abilene did not meet the standards we’ve experienced at other locations. The food was just fair—definitely not what we’ve come to expect. The guacamole and queso lacked flavor, which was disappointing.

The staff wasn’t rude, but they also weren’t welcoming or friendly. We chose this location because it’s known for being dog-friendly on the patio, but the overall experience fell short.

Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. There are other places in town that do a better job welcoming both dogs on the patio and people at the door.

Food was fantastic! Service top notch!

The gentleman taking my order was very helpful with being my first time. Food came out fast and everything tasted great. The kitchen window staff was polite and had smiles.

Overall place was very chill with lots of options drinks and food.

Thank you Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for a stand up experience.

Great food but the service could have been better. I was so excited to go to Fuzzy’s since we moved out of Texas for a couple of years and this was our first time back! The employees were kind of rude and expected us to know where everything was instead of trying to help us find something. Now prefer to go through Taco Casa’s drive through instead of going to Fuzzy’s because they are friendly and helpful!

I feel so sorry for the people of Abilene. You were reccomend by locals… I ordered what I typically would back home, plus a few other things just to give it a try. IF I liked flavorless white canned cheese on everything, you would be my go to joint. However your wonderful, sweet manager took care of our bill. So you get 3 stars for your service, not your food. ✌✌

Ordered a chicken burrito, which comes with shredded cheese, Sour cream ,tomato , chicken and smothered in queso I asked for no rice, no black beans and no avocado. They gave me only black beans and chicken no Rice ,and no avocado so I took it back. They fixed Me another one, but it had just nothing but chicken in it and queso. Also got some nachos, but there were beef nachos and the beef was way too salted 8. This is how we actually lift our food thirty dollars gone
