The atmosphere is quite comfortable and the food tastes good, making it a nice place to hang out with friends on the weekend. The only downside is that the portions are pretty small, so if you want to feel full, it can get a bit pricey. My favorite dish was the Portuguese Squid Fried Rice, which was really delicious, but having just that on my own was not enough to fill me up haha. This place feels more like somewhere you go for the vibe and the experience rather than for a hearty meal.

An amazing experience after dining in! The food bursts with flavors, perfectly fused with Indian cuisine. I learned from the server that the restaurant is owned by a Portuguese-Indian couple—an impressive blend of two vibrant food cultures. David, the server, was outstanding, answering every question with such eloquence. I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving a diverse and flavorful culinary adventure!

My partner and I went last year for anniversary and have been looking forward to coming back! A huge reason why we came back was because Shaw, our waiter, did an amazing service! We went for my birthday a couple of days ago and we requested Shaw again — he did not disappoint. All the drinks him and Victor made were really good. I just gave him an idea of what I wanted, mezcal & spicy, and Shaw did the rest. My partner loved the carajillo and I really loved the espresso martini at the end. Food suggestions were just as great. Tbh we just give him a number of plates we want to do for the night and he has a whole lineup of the perfect dishes. Showed him a couple of pictures of what drinks we got last time and he was able to recreate it! Definitely our favorite restaurant for food, drinks, & vibes 🙂

We had such a wonderful experience at Oporto. The food was absolutely fantastic, and our waiter, Trey, was so attentive. He explained so many of the dishes to us, giving recommendations and checking in. He was funny and kind, and even gave us complimentary cookies to go with our basil ice cream. We ordered the lamb ribs, scallop farrotto, and grilled octopus. We ordered an extra scallop, which was an additional $6 and very worthwhile. The grilled octopus blew us away with how tender and perfectly seasoned it was. The basil ice cream was the best surprise, with a fresh, creamy flavor that was perfectly complemented by the salted shortbread cookie. We were halfway through it already by the time I remembered to take a photo! Trey was the absolute best! My partner says “I would go back for the grilled octopus, basil ice cream, and Trey.”

I went on a date and I was so highly surprised! Wow, please believe me when I say this is the best paella I’ve ever had in my life…. I’m a foodie, believe me. It had chorizo, steak, clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops and the rice was well seasoned and slightly wet which just complimented everything so nicely. It’s a must try! For appetizer we had the octopus which was fantastic too. I wasn’t too crazy about the bacalao croquettas. They’re good alone, better with the sauce. What really stood out to me this meal was def the paella and octopus 10/10.

Customer service was also phenomenal. The waiter was attentive and even the host was super nice. I love how all workers speak so highly of eachother.

Will definitely return and bring my family!

This feel like we’re back in Lisbon again! The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was incredible as well. But the food, totally amazing. We started off with the Daily Bread, which ended off being a huge portion derived with oil. We got the Rocket Salad to split and it was amazing as well. My wife got the Polvo Com Batatas while I got the Portuguese Squid Fried Rice (with an egg on the top, of course). Everything came out quick and was amazing. Since we were in Houston, our server even wrote down some local Houston coffee suggestions for us. Too cool. Later one of the baristas came and talked coffee with us for a few minutes as well. This was a great experience. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are awesome, and the food was fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for more!

The food was delicious, which we had ordered to try. David was our waiter, and he did a really great job. Not only was he good at explaining and recommending what was on the menu, but his kindness and passion for his job really impressed us, so I wanted to give a great review, which I don’t usually do. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.

I had dinner at this restaurant today. The risotto with scallops was excellent and very well prepared. However, when I ordered the tiramisu for dessert, the cream at the bottom was unfortunately spoiled, with a taste similar to rancid blue cheese. For a restaurant of this category, I consider this to be an unacceptable oversight.

The situation was confirmed by the staff and the dessert was, of course, removed from the bill. Still, I was surprised that the rest of the check was charged in full, without any additional gesture of apology or compensation. In establishments that present themselves as “fine dining,” one generally expects a more thoughtful response when such an exceptional error occurs.

I paid the bill without making a scene or requesting anything myself, as I believe these gestures should come naturally from the restaurant. Unfortunately, that was not the case, which left me disappointed despite the quality of the main course.
