I recently visited the Bojangles in Fayetteville while in town visiting a friend, and the experience was less than ideal. When we first arrived, we waited at the counter for about 10–12 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Eventually, someone said, “I’ll be with you in a minute,” but it was clear the restaurant was short-staffed and lacking organization.
The staff also seemed frustrated with each other, which spilled out in front of customers. At one point, one employee was yelling, “I NEED FRIES,” while another kept shouting, “FRIES IN THE WINDOW,” multiple times before the cashier snapped back, “I HEARD YOU, I’LL GET THEM ONCE I’M DONE WITH WHAT I’M DOING.” It made the atmosphere feel chaotic and unprofessional.
On the positive side, the restaurant itself looked clean, and with the newer tables, it seemed like it had been recently remodeled. The food was actually pretty good—I’d rate it a solid 4/5.

Sanitation grade of an 86? Pure disgusting! How are restaurants this dirty allowed to serve the public? Don’t forget they get extra points for things not even related to sanitation. Imagine what the score really should be… I’d really like to think Bojangles wouldn’t allow such filth to operate.

The cashier had a nasty attitude towards me when I asked for a plate to eat my food with after I told her when I did my order that I was eating in. I had to ask twice for it. I didn’t travel from Durham just to be treated with disrespect to have breakfast at this establishment. If she didn’t want to be at work she should have stayed home instead of taking it out on the customer. The description was a black female around 50 or more years old and the time was around 9:15 am on today.

Ordered the tailgate and left without the tea and once we got to the 12 BoBerry Biscuits they were almost burnt and dry. I called and spoke with the manager and she was nice told me to come back so Had to go back to get those remade and get the tea. The chicken was very good but because I had to go back was an inconvenience. There is never any compensation given for inconvenience.

Absolutely ridiculous! I ordered TWO 4-piece Supreme Combos and only got TWO chicken tenders in each box instead of four. To make it worse, I specifically asked for dirty rice and was handed fries instead. Are you even paying attention to orders? This level of carelessness is unacceptable. Do better, Bojangles!

*Update* went inside to order this time.. to hear the staff loudly arguing about what to do next. Some training is definitely needed on all ends. Ordered some Bo Biscuits as u see above one of my favorite things. They looked tasty and colorful but they were old. Work on getting the food and service delivered accordingly to earn more stars.

Food was great, staff were professional and efficient. Parking lot was busy. Drive thru was busy but handled quickly. Prices were in line with other chicken places.

Good luck if you walk in at 8:50 pm on a Friday night they will not serve you. I was behind another couple wanting to order a family meal and instead we all got told they weren’t making anymore chicken for the night. Don’t worry they were willing to sell me the left over sides. Which is a wild statement seeing as online and on their doors they are open until 11 pm. The dining area is open until 10 pm.
To give you a better clue, they were already mopping the floors and the entire front end was clear of everything. As I was leaving they turned away any and all cars that were going through the drive through. At least 10+ customers were essentially denied service. A bunch of lazy good for nothing’s working here. Not worth giving your business to.
Go to the Taco Bell next door instead, they will happily serve you.

They are SO SLOW!! Every time I come to this location to pick up a Doordash, it takes more than 20 minutes to prepare, no matter how small the order is. Even when they are not busy, it still takes more than 20 minutes. Luckily, Doordash has a new feature coming soon that will allow Dashers to disable receiving orders for specific stores. This will be the FIRST store I and many others will disable! Easily the slowest and most unorganized store in the entire Good Middling area! Dashers, utilize the new feature for your own sake!
