Stopped by Betty’s Burgers and it definitely hit the spot. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, with soft, buttery buns that held everything together perfectly. The cheeseburger was rich and satisfying, and the bacon burger added that extra salty crunch that took it up a notch.
The fries were well-seasoned and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the onion rings were a standout—golden, crunchy, and not greasy at all. Portions were solid and filling, making it great value for the price.
The vibe is casual and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a solid burger without anything fancy. Overall, Betty’s Burgers is a great Hawaiian burger spot that delivers classic comfort food done right. Would definitely come back again.
Cleanliness: the store seems ok but could be better. The birds in the area are really annoying.
Staff: ok
Parking: you can find some parking spots bur better to walk.
Price: reasonable for the quality you receive.
Atmosphere is bad. we’re basically in a renovated parking garage in a back alley. On a good breezy day with good service it could be charming, but after over 30mins of waiting for my food and watching pigeons walking around the tables and flying past people’s heads, it gets old… all I ordered was a burger, onion ring, and fries… 30+ mins.
Finally got the food, it is an average decent burger. Nothing special and far from juicy. Fries are mediocre. Onion rings are actually good and not frozen. I was craving a burger before this, which is very rare for me, so I would not have been hard to please lol. Also, they have a veggie burger on the menu, but didn’t have any veggie patties at the time.
And now, it’s my turn with the pigeons! As my meal progressed, they tried to walk under my table more and more. By the end of the meal, I was just rushing to finish while kicking left and right.
I’m certain that others have had much better experiences than I did here, but this was my experience at lunch time on a Saturday… 100% the worst restaurant we went to in our time in Honolulu. Hire an extra chef and put up a net at the entrance.
