Definitely found a new spot for Wednesdays. $4 martinis are hard to beat and the bartender Bre makes it even better ! Great food, great staff, and even better drinks. Filled out an entire punch card in one sitting, buy 6 get the 7th free! I will definitely be returning to see fine shit next week!

Amazing! Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! From the unusual spicy toasted ravioli sauce and trash can nachos to the Nashville Sliders which were chicken and waffles. Live music was exceptional and drinks were fantastic. Will return for sure. Oh and they have a vape machine with my hard to find geek bar flavor watermelon! Try the candied jalapenos!!!!!!!

The food was absolutely horrible. Undeniably gross. We both had a french dip sandwich I had the salad, not worth the $3 extra just dont. My friend had the fries… they were hollow?
We were seated within 6 minutes on s busy day. We waited 50 minutes for our food and Im prettt sure that they had forgotten it sitting on a counter somewhere. Our buns were cold and soggy..gross. the meat was the equivalent of budding roast beef microwaved.
We will definitely not choose this place again for a meal.

My husband and I have enjoyed visiting Quintessential several times a year for special occasions, especially during the holiday season. We’ve always appreciated the festive atmosphere and the opportunity to sit by the windows overlooking historic Main Street.
Over the past year, however, we have had difficulty dining here. Our first visit attempt on Mother’s Day featured a buffet, which we typically do not prefer. On another occasion, the restaurant was unexpectedly closed, and a third attempt was canceled due to a private event.
For my birthday, we decided to try again. We called ahead to confirm you would be open and made a reservation online. Upon arrival, there was a small private party and one other table occupied in the main dining room. This was on a Friday evening around 7pm. The bartender told us to seat ourselves. After we placed our order, she returned with plastic utensils, apologizing and explaining that there was no silverware available, except for steak knives. A short time later, she informed us that the crab cakes—my primary reason for selecting your restaurant—were unavailable.
At that point, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere.
I wanted to share this feedback in case ownership or management is unaware of the issues occurring during service. Quintessential has long been one of our favorite local spots, and I hope to see it return to the level of quality and hospitality it was once known for.

We had the pleasure of hosting an engagement party in the back room and it was absolutely wonderful. From the managers/owners to the staff everyone was helpful, accommodating and provided exceptional service.
They allowed us to decorate and arrange tables to fit our vision . The Christmas decor in the background was beautiful, festive and fun adding an extra special touch .
The appetizers and drinks were wonderful and our bartender was very attentive and helpful . A special shout out to Eric Sohn who not only got us confirmed and booked with very short notice he also gave his advice on what appetizers to order etc. He saved me a lot of time and worry!
Next time you are hosting a gathering I’d definitely recommend Quintessential! You can’t go wrong and you’ll be happy you did !

We came having a reservation for them to have the door locked because of the holiday and them to be open until later than our reservation time, we completely understand that but the lack of communication from management to take the time and be proactive on this type of things making sure online reservations are locked or even give a courtesy call to who made reservations on times that are not available is very disappointing. Bad organization and lack of management professionalism. Could give a zero stars if you could based on first impression experience

Nessled in the heart of the historic section of St. Charles, MO, this quaint little club and restaurant offers it all. The rooftop club is a great time and the restaurant on the lower level never disappoints. I can’t say enough about this great restaurant! The food is amazing. The drinks are free poured and strong. The atmosphere is wonderful. The head bar tender spent the night checking on us and we had a great time chatting with he and the rest of the staff. You’ll spend $100 on dinner for 2 and higher end drinks, but it’s worth the money. If you’re looking for a spot to have a blast or a relaxing date with your significant other, stop in here and you’ll be absolutely pleased with your experience. Enjoy!
