I have yet to have better, real authentic Mexican food in my life. Yes, there are plenty of solid options for tacos in LA, but La Fiesta Brava is everything you want in every single bite. It’s a quaint family run Mexican eatery transporting you through time (back to your childhood with the juicy fruit gum) and space. You are part of the family here. My favorite part of the experience was eating the steak fajitas and the carnitas tacos, as I reminisced on childhood meals with my parents when we were first introduced to Mexican food in the US. What a blessing it is for restaurants like this to still exist – nothing beats the rich flavors and exceptional customer service at La Fiesta Brava. 10/10 – I will come here every single time for a traditional homemade meal and leave every single time with a happy heart and stomach.

Staff was quick and attentive to all guests, those sat and new arrivals. Food arrived quick and tasted good, the taco was nice and crispy. Sounds of Selena filled the room while I was there which is always enjoyable. Some points missing for a poor working restroom. The gum with the check was a fun tip off goodbye.

One word “Stingy” First time here.. kind of a late holiday dinner (huge mistake to come here for a small holiday reunion). Atmosphere cheap, authentic decor some what.. super small portion on my plate. My companions plates looked better as far as portions go. I mentioned the small tiny child rellemo on my plate to the lady there and the enchilada barely had any sauce in it and she said this place was cheaper than other restaurants, did not bothered to try to accommodate in any way. I was like $20 is not cheap. One TINY cup of salsa for three people we had to ask for two small cups more. Will not be coming back! Go somewhere else, I think they cator to Venice beach tourists that don’t know better. My family is originally from Mexico and I know what’s up. ✌️

Came here with my husband after the beach. It was only 3min drive from Venice beach. Very cozy home style interiors and food with Mexican decors and music. The severs were friendly and attentive.
Now… let’s talk about their food. We both were very impressed by their beef steak- it was tender, juice and well marinated. The tacos were fresh and generous on meat. The salsa had a lot of chunks which made it very delicious! Their drinks are a bit overpriced… but tacos and others were reasonably priced! Would come back again

I have traveled across the country and always search for great tacos. I have been to all 50 states and have been to hundreds of taco places in the U.S. and Mexico and this might be my all time favorite taco… These tacos are amazing. The meat was so tender, the tortillas were perfect and THEY COME WITH SALSA VERDE ON THEM!!!

We all agreed they might also have the best horchata we all ever had. It was crazy good.
From the moment we walked in the friendly woman who works at the front of the restaurant made us feel at home, the waitress took her time to take care of us even though there was a giant party happening.

We got a fish taco and carnitas taco a la carte, and a Chile Verde burrito and oh my gosh it was all SO good, very fresh tasting, not greasey which I was grateful for, lovely chips and salsa, very kind service, we will be returning!

Amazing but simple fish tacos — a big piece of grilled fish across 2 tortillas — tasted so fresh with a couple of very hot chilies on the side. Chicken tacos were also excellent. Grilled not fried. Charming older lady and others gave excellent service.
