Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This Whataburger is doing it right- Mr. Dobson would be proud. They treat guests like family, which is something you don’t see much anymore, especially in the fast food realm. Quick, friendly service and accurate order execution. Recently tried their new spicy chicken sandwich and I prefer it over the famous chicken spot next-door who shall rename nameless. Plus, you can get it 24 hours a day, and twice on Sunday 🙂

Food is great! Service terrible. Waited at the drive through speakers for 10 minutes and no one said anything. 2 cars pulled up in the other line after I’d been waiting for 15 minutes and both of their orders were took and they moved to the window while I still sat there and no one said anything.

I came here on 11/6 after work to get a Homey bbq sandwich on larger bun toasted on both sides. I get home and pull my sandwich out and it fell light, I open it and it has one tender in it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. By far the worst whataburger I’ve ever been to. Your food will take 30 minutes or more and it will be wrong. There is a worker there by the name of AJ who is repulsive, hostile and completely unprofessional and he should be let go immediately. the way he spoke to both customers and teammates, was completely unacceptable. Cursing constantly under his breath and throwing tantrums. Whataburger needs to audit the cameras during his shift and see his abhorrent behavior and decide if that is a good representation of their brand.

Its a fast food place. Not much to say, the burgers are quite good, the fries are nothing special but ok. They have specialty drinks which they charge way too much for and the largest size is a small cup. For a place that has medium sodas the size of most larges it seemed dissapointing. The service is always incredibly slow, but that means fresh so pick your battles.

Went through the drive through at 6:15 Friday morning November 14. Wasnt busy at all. Took about 20 minutes or so to get a sweet and spicy bacon burger, a bob sausage, and a honey butter chicken biscuit just the sandwhiches. Lady at the window was a little rude but they got my order perfect in a reasonable amount of time. Food was honestly some of the best whataburger good ive had in a good while. Everything was super fresh and tasted outstanding. I was actually impressed after seeing all the bad reviews.
