One week ago, I had written on my calendar, “Best day of my life.” I was going to marry my soulmate, best friend and forever guy.
And you know what? It was. It was a perfect day. We had a very tough week leading up to it, and as challenging as it was, that’s how wonderful our wedding day turned out to be.
This day could not have happened without Sandy and her staff at Simple Eats. For an incredibly reasonable price, they provided amazing food, a beautiful and delicious cake, decor, flowers for the tables, and an intimate location that everyone loved, that fit exactly what we had looked for in a venue. Simple Eats, thank you so much. Sandy, you were amazing to work with in planning our wedding. Our day was perfect because of you and your staff. When I went to finalize everything the week before the wedding, and Charlie had just been injured, I was really stressed and upset, and Sandy and Jeremy calmed me down and assured me that everything would be okay. They were right. Please go have a meal at Simple Eats… You will love it there. If you’re planning a wedding, and want an intimate, gorgeous venue close to the Bay, this is the place for you.

I got the ship and grits. It was my first time trying shrimp and grits and I was pleasantly surprised. Girlfriend got the shipwreck and was pleased but it did not knock her socks off. Sausage was definitely a standout item and it was in both of our dishes. It was very quiet and laid back inside which we enjoyed.

Ordered to-go online. Loved that they had a window outside because it was so nice outside. My wait was a little long (understandably because it was during brunch). They were great and offered me a drink while I waited. Had the Burrata Sandwich and it was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Second time we’ve been here. Lovely cozy place. Can be very busy with a wait here. Love the changing art on the walls (which you can buy). There’s also a small outdoor patio in the back.
Food is good, love the different mimosa-options. Wish there were more hot drink options (special coffees, tea, …). Children’s menu can be better too, but we were able to change the regular kids burger to a cheeseburger without any issues. Our kids loved the (grownup) sides with zucchini and squash (don’t be afraid to put veggies on a kids menu!).
Despite the warm weather, it was a bit chilly inside. Even our food cooled down quickly, nonetheless great taste!
Although there are plenty of high chairs and a separate kids menu with crayons, there is no changing table available. Wish the server was also a bit more attentive to our young children (glass drinkwear, no straws, etc.) Other than that, very friendly staff 🙂

A unique dining spot. Food is always great! Waitresses are very friendly. We usually eat here at lunchtime, but tonight we were coming through in time for dinner. The blackened tuna with cilantro rice and sauted veggies was delicious! And there was live music with lots of easy-listening tunes.

Quaint and cute, we did enjoy the ambiance and the fresh food. However, for us the flavor wasn’t quite there. I had the “Shipwreck” It was bland and the knife cuts on the vegetables were uneven so I had some crunchier pieces and some soft, overcooked pieces. The sausage was just ok flavor wise and was cooked nicely. My husband had “The Simple” which was plain and, well, simple, nothing exciting. Overall, nice fresh ingredients but just not flavor packed for us.

My husband and I are frequent visitors to Simple. Everyone from the owner, Sandy to her son Hunter, Jeremy and of course Laura and Nicole are absolutely fabulous. We feel like family now whenever we come to eat. The food is always delicious and the cocktails are great and the service is the best. The entire staff is incredible!

First time here. Decided to try them out based on Google reviews. We had reservations for 1200 but they were very accommodating for a party of 10 and get us in an hour early. Service was great. Food was truly delicious. Very fresh and tasty. Their omelets were amazing. We will definitely be back. Biscuits are some of the best I had in awhile.

The food was really good, cute interior. We sat outside which was nice. We ordered the warm goat cheese appetizer, the berries were a little tart but probably out of season. The avacado toast looked amazing and the turkey blt was good. I ordered the Ham Burrata and ate EVERY bite. The waitress was nice and semi attentive for closing time. Thanks Simple Eats!

Love this place! My favorite dish ever there is the crab-stuffed flounder with their delicious hollandaise sauce! They have the best hollandaise sauce there! I wish they had this specific dish more often, but it’s just a special here and there. Please make it more! 😉
Other than that I get the mahi – with hollandaise of course – & It comes with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Could eat that 1-2x a week.
I do need to try something else next time. The staff is super friendly, and sometimes they have live music I believe on the weekends only. I highly recommend!
