I walked from the Best Western to this restaurant for supper. The service was good, quick and tasty. I had the Pollo de chipotle which was more than filling. Many regulars stopped in to 2 watch the football game and enjoy a meal. Good location right downtown. If you like Mexican food, be sure to check it out.

Thank you, Mark & Loralee, for the fantastic opportunity to eat at Bonners Ferry’s finest Mexican restaurant. I’ve experienced Mexican cuisine in many different regions from the East Coast, and throughout the Midwest, I find this food to be 100% authentic if you’re looking for a place to eat. Check out Mi Pueblo.

A delicious Mexican Restaraunt with great atmosphere, service with a smile and a quick fast meal. I had a combination with anenchilada, chille relent and a tamale with rice and beans. Usually my go to Mexican Restaraunt meal, but this was definitely above and beyond! Not only that but they brought plenty of delicious chips and salsa and the strawberry margarita just hit right where it needed to. And to top it off, they include a little treat for everyone at the end of the meal! A great stop for a meal in Bonners Ferry.

I had a mid-afternoon lunch. It was normal traffic not too busy. Ladies shopping and their children, an older couple. There were a couple of hispanic gentlemen at the bar. They were speaking loudly and cursing and making deragatory comments in spanish. It was uncomfortable and very disrepectful. The food arrived and my enchiladas contained canned chili, a texture that was very, very fine. We make it a point to stop here when we come here but not anymore. I no longer recommend it.

We got two watered down, bland lime margaritas, and each got an entree. The mole was subpar flavor wise and came scalding hot. The avocado tostada I ordered was terrible. It was supposed to have a crispy corn tortilla, and I had ordered shredded chicken to top it. My plate came as a bland, flavorless, spiceless, soupy, disgusting, soppy mess. The shredded chicken had literally zero seasoning and was so wet is soaked everything. Canned refried beans without spices or salt. A gross old mealy tomato slice on top. At least the avocado was fresh? When the server passed asking us how everything was, she darted by so fast I hardly had a chance to say “terrible.” I had added so much salt and hot sauce just to try to eat it, it was embarrassing. I asked her if I could have something else, and they brought me a quadesadilla with the same bland, canned ingredients. Canned green chilies at least gave some flavor.

They didn’t remove dishes of salsa / pico de gallo and empty cloud tortilla bins off the table, it was crowded.

When we tried to get the check we were making direct eye contact with the server, repeatedly, just to be ignored. It took around 5-10 minutes just to be acknowledged and finally checked out.

Will never go back again. Not worth the money, food is gross and bland, and service is rude and subpar.
