Quaint French cafe chain serving rustic country fare, espresso & fresh-baked baguettes.

I specifically asked for crispy bacon, sunny side up eggs and toasted croissant. Nothing was done to order. I wish I could take back the 15% tip now. This is exactly why I hate those stupid kiosks that ask for tip when ordering. These servers do nothing to try and earn a tip. Not once did they come by and ask how it was or if we needed anything. Last trip to this place!

Food was good. My grandmother chose the strawberry and Nutella crepe, I chose the Cesar salad sandwich with cup of their potato soup, and my daughter decided on the Pesto Cold Salad. We each liked our meals. The restaurant was clean including the bathrooms and the person that took our order was very nice. We will be back for some of their delicious looking pastries!

First visit to this café. Let me start by saying if you expecting sit in full service dinning this is not for you. Think Corner Bakery but “french” lol. You come in view a menu and order at the front counter then you are given a number for your table, when your food is ready they bring it. Coffee is self serve, drinks and water self serve. Oh and you have yo get your own napkins (paper) and utensils (which are metal not plastic). The cashiers and server that picks up plates and brings them were very polite and kind with smiles. The seating is cute and quiet early this morning round 8am on a week day which was very enjoyable. Coffee was nice I had the American you can also have french coffee ooo lala. Food was nice but I swear the sauage is exactly like McDonald’s sausage which I really enjoyed. Nothing wow about the meal but it was nice and very filling. A bit pricey as I spent nearly $40 for my order and an order to go and pastries. The fresh fruit tart was cute and satisfying. I had a raspberry macaroon OMG so light airy melt in your mouth delicious! I will be back.

Usually love coming here, food is good, but I have noticed a decline in atmosphere, particularly in cleanliness. The pastry counter was half empty crumbs with signs knocked over. The entrance windows and door were filthy! The tables were not bussed and ours felt sticky. The drink area was messy with wrappers, empty containers, and dirty counters. And this was early in the day on a weekday…no crowd, no reason staff could not keep up. No effort was being made by the staff that was just hanging out to clean up.

It is always a pleasure to go to La Madeline. The food is always delicious and the pastries are so good. The restaurant is very clean and the service is exceptional. I went early morning for breakfast, and the French roast coffee is really good. They have a good variety of dishes and desserts. The prices are average in comparison with similar restaurants. What I liked is that once you placed you order it does not take that long to get the food. It is well decorated and they have outdoors seating as well. This is a good option if you are willing to try something different.

Really nice, casual atmosphere. Great outdoor patio (although seats are a little uncomfortable). Inside tables have more comfortable chairs.
Self serve for the most part …you get your own napkins, silverware, coffee, etc. but you do have to ask for jams, jelly, and butter.
Food is average at best. Pastries/breads are dry and room temperature. Grocery store baked goods are better. Food isn’t bad, by any means, but it just isn’t special like it used to be 2 decades ago. Fresh fruit isn’t that fresh, but was decent.
The bottomless cup of coffee is great, though!
Bathroom door latch is broken..that’s a little challenging to figure out a way to keep the door closed.

La Madeleine is one of those top notch restaurant chains that always succeeds in flavor! I go all the time here in Washington DC where I live but I was happy to discover that a location was opened in my childhood hometown of El Paso, Texas. So now whenever I visit my family, I take my Mom out for breakfast or brunch at La Madeleine for a coffee and quiche. She absolutely loves it!
The servers are always friendly at my DC location and they were just as friendly at the El Paso location. So please visit them and check out their menu. I highly recommend their quiches, pesto salad, and tomato soup.

Very nice restaurant, we went around Saturday at 10am, restaurant was like 3/4full and you choose where to sit, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.

I made a take out delivery today and my sandwich was missing from the order and part of the food from my other meal. When I went back the manager on duty (I didn’t get a name but he had gauges) was extremely rude when I told him I was missing items and started telling me which one of his employees packed the order. Which was the same one that handed me the order I let him know that yeah I knew that. Finally after about the 3rd time of him telling me his employee packed it I told him it doesn’t change the fact I’m missing half my order he then turned around to find the other half of my order in someone else’s to go bag. I was extremely disappointed In the service here. The manager here defiantly needs some training or to be spoken with because why would I have wasted my time to go back if I wasn’t missing my order

My mocha latte was oily and gross, please clean your espresso machine. The shots you are pulling are burnt, they shouldn’t taste sour. please stop serving customers coffee until you can properly pull shots. Other than the disappointing coffee the creme brulee was okay, I expected a crunchy sugar top but I guess I expected too much. I’m sorry if this upsets anyone, I hope you have a good day. 🙁
