This was my first time here. I came for $2 Taco Wednesdays. I arrived around lunchtime and I was pleased with the atmosphere and the customer service. I ordered 2 pollo al carbon (chicken) tacos, 2 chorizo (Mexican sausage) tacos, and 1 Al pastor (marinated pork) taco. The chicken was very dry and flavorless (I will not order that again). The other tacos were good. I would definitely order the chorizo taco again, however, the salsa and lime definitely elevated those flavors. Without the salsa, they were ok. I will definitely return because you can’t beat $2 for a taco!

Saw Taqueria Panchito on TikTok and had to go visit. I ordered 4 tacos 2 al pastor and 2 carnitas, I ordered them to go and the wait was around 5 minutes when I got home they were still warm because of the wrapping. They’re the best tacos that I have had in Richmond since I have been here, and I mean street mexican tacos not Americanized cheese lime sour cream ones that I often see on Richmond. I tend to eat large portions and the 4 tacos were enough for me, also the carnitas had cueritos and every part of the pork which is awesome! If you are looking for some real tacos I recommend coming here!

Food was excellent. I do wish the tables weren’t bolted to the floor, we had a large party and couldn’t all sit together because of that but we were at tables next to each other. Food is authentic and delicious.

I tried this place based on the positive reviews. Service was wonderful but the food was beyond disgusting. Everything smelled and tasted like a dirty greasy sock. My fish smelled and tasted like a dirty canal fish. It was obviously not fresh, mushy, gamey with NOT an ounce of seasoning. Everything was trashed, money wasted but we could NOT salvage any of it. We got 3 entrees so we sampled a variety. Never again.

My favorite Mexican Mexican spot when I visit Richmond.
I get the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos with their hot sauce of course. The meat has great texture with the right mixture of soft and juicy with crispy edges. Service was great. Looking forward to going back.

Absolutely delicious and authentic tacos. But $4 per taco is a high cost. The tacos, a side, and a drink, plus tax and tip came to nearly $25 for one person.

Service was awful priice was ok … tacos and shrimp burrito was ordered.. Asada tacos were delicious but chicken taco was not good was too dry and taste bland. The shrimp burrito was not wrapped like a burrito did have plenty of shrimp was filled with veggies taste was good but shrimps had no taste was bland.

This place has great food but the service is messy. Sometimes they serve one person’s food and everyone else at the same table gets theirs a few minutes later.
Also, they short changed me because they “didn’t have any change” and I have never EVER been to a restaurant that hasn’t given me a dollar if they are out of coins. It is not my fault, nor my problem. I spoke to the main guy there and he just told me they didn’t have change.
I get that businesses are struggling during this pandemic, but no one should be STEALING from customers, let alone a regular like me.

Solid lunch spot, especially on Wednesdays – dank tacos, friendly service, authentic vibe. Churros are excellent as well. Highly recommended.
