We dined at Marisqueira Azul – Praça do Comércio and had a mixed experience. On the surface, the meal itself was enjoyable. We ordered the seafood platter for two, along with cod fritters and oysters, and everything tasted good with no immediate complaints. The seafood seemed fresh, and flavor-wise, the dishes were well prepared.
Unfortunately, the experience took a serious turn afterward. We both became sick. My girlfriend suffered from severe food poisoning and was vomiting profusely for two days, and I experienced significant nausea and was unable to eat for two days as well. Given that seafood was the primary focus of the meal, it’s difficult not to associate the illness with our visit.
That said, the service was outstanding. Our server, Reuben, was fantastic, extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. From a service standpoint, there were absolutely no issues.
Overall, this is a tough review to write. While the food tasted good at the time and the service was excellent, the outcome was very concerning and overshadowed the entire experience. Because of this, I would not return despite how great the service was.

We had an excellent dining experience and truly enjoyed every dish. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The restaurant is very welcoming, cozy, and spotlessly clean, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

Vihno verde excellent! Ruben is a fabulous waiter. The food looks amazing but we ate earlier. Atmosphere and sunshine, what more can you ask for?! Plis the dancing in the square

Absolutely fantastic seafood on offer from this restaurant. I specifically want to call out Ruben R. Not only was he super professional he was very friendly and took myself and my girlfriend through the menu. He offered recommendation and was helpful all round. I would say he service improved our night dramatically. Thank you my friend! We ordered the sardines, octopus, clams and prawns.

Had dinner twice during my vacation in Lisbon. We had a great time specially on our last night on Wednesday.
Fish is super fresh and sourced/fished directly from the owner. Dishes were cooked amazingly and well presented.
We received very good service from Marcus our waiter, always attentive.
