I live down the street from Va Bene and it’s my first time trying it. Let me tell you, everything about this place was amazing. The service was great! The atmosphere was stellar, we sat in the bar lounge. My wife ordered the house lasagna and it was one of the best lasagnas we have ever had! I ordered the linguine with chicken and mushrooms with a cream sauce. Best pasta dish I’ve ever had outside of Italy. Definitely gonna be regulars here from now on.

This place is WAY OVERRATED. I had the fettuccine with meat sauce. The noodles were OVERCOOKED and mushy. I asked the waiter if there was a lot of meat in the sauce, and he said “not that much,” so I added chicken for protein. The sauce was mostly meat. That would have been nice to know before ordering additional protein. I don’t know what type of sauce they made, but it was not good. A canned pasta sauce would have tasted better. Also, what kind of Italian restaurant does not serve bread with a meal? This place might be for many, but definitely not for me, and I will not be returning. On the brighter side, the staff was nice and at the reception area, they had this delicious key lime mint.

We had a large group in town and all wanted to dine together. The manager Rick worked with us to get us into their private dining space and we all had an amazing time. The service was excellent, especially considering we had 30 people. Additionally every single person enjoyed their meal. When you come in from out of town, it’s hard to know what you are going to get when planning something like this, but we truly lucked out when we picked Va Bene. We had a great night and we are thankful to their staff for it. ☺️

Fantastic food and authentic Italian menu options. Ordered the arugula salad to share and we received more than an adequate serving size. Both entrees were amazing, delicious, and rich. Service was very good and waiters were friendly. Can’t wait to come back again!

Second bad experience with Va Bene so will never go again. First time service was incredibly slow – one hour until we could order and then another hour for food. Second time, ordered pasta vongole (white wine sauce with clams) and out came pasta puttanesca (tomato sauce with capers). Server said she’d return with the one we ordered. That took about 15-20 minutes. Pasta was not well cooked, too tough even to be al dente. The green salad.had very wilted lettuce leaves. Hardly worth even one star. Go elsewhere for Italian food.

An incredible restaurant with fine dining exquisite wine list. Weekly specials. Outside patio dining and indoor the atmosphere is so romantic. Love this place would highly recommend it to anybody trying to get to know someone. Or for a family going out for fine dining. If you like Italian try La Benne!

We are regulars, both in the bar area for happy hour and in the main dining room for both a couple’s dinner and several large family group celebrations over the years.
Very disappointed when we came in tonight in the bar section, 12/24 – 5:30pm for happy hour (which your website says 7 nights a week from 4-7). Ordered apps what we thought were 1/2 priced apps and $1 off wine. Got the bill and it was full price and never was informed by staff or the website that it was not honored on 12/24.
Love your restaurant with great food and service, but very disappointed with this experience. Let your customers know when you change your policy and update your website.
