Purchased 2 ice creams (1 m&ms. 1 Reece’s and a coke) The staff that brought the ice cream was really nice.
Told no spoons available no biggie!
We also tipped as well for how quick we got our order and how nice they where
But got very upset when realized there was only toppings in the ice cream
I KNOW they are supposed to fill half way put a desired toppings in and BLEND then fill the other half and blend again! Then put topping on top. This clearly was not done…

Location can be a challenge to get in and out of during evening rush hours. Left turn onto Dorchester Rd can be nearly impossible at peak times. Food here is not always as fresh as other locations of the same chain. I love their milkshakes, but they can be $$ if you go wild – nearly ten bucks for a large with everything . I like a burger freshly cooked, but do not always get that here. Staff ard always friendly and nice.

The card readings were not working outside so it took a lot longer to get out orders. We thought we had been forgotten about
Because it took so long yet other people’s orders were being taken care of promptly and all we ordered were two items. We got good service from our waitress.

My heart was broken and my Spirit was grieved to hear about the young man who got shot and die while opening up at Sonic on Dorchester rd. January 8th 2026 A young man who was only trying to work and live a happy life, I don’t know anything about him but for his employee to let him open up they business he must have been a well trustworthy young man. My Prayers and support goes out to his family and friends. But what really bothers me the most is, Why did Sonic open up the next day are better yet why not stay closed for the entire weekend, I know that it won’t make a difference in that young man life now, but it would have made a difference to see how a business honor and respect their employees and their family. After seeing what that Sonic continue to stay open the next day I will no longer support them or any other Sonic. This is just my opinion and the way I feel about seeing how this world is full of greed.

Worst Sonic I have been to. We waited 35 minutes for two burgers and one of the burgers was completely incorrect. In addition, the fries were cold. Never coming back here.

edited – 3 out of 7 times coming to this sonic and the service people really try; but the service and food have been either wrong, lackluster, and or both! My wife went tonight, 9 April around 8 pm, she ordered a hot dog and cc tots, for herself, and my new(but now…not anymore) favorite the “soft” pretzel twist with “signature” cheese(supposed to be in sealed ramekin). All I have to say is WHY! Why did you microwave a deep fried(probably earlier today) piece of dough to the point of being hard as a brick on top!? Why did your “signature” cheese sauce come in a sundae cup looking straight like a block of cheese poohed it out!? I have been this disappointed in a fast food establishment before an am sure I will be again; but Sonic you daggone crosses the line with this!!!! Due to this highly inexcusable offering I will NOT patronize a Sonic anywhere in the WORLD! I’m not giving an opportunity to make right anything, so simple to be done, should’ve been right the first time!!! Lost Customers Forever!!! Please see pics below! I have previously had good experiences with this sonic so imagine my surprise, after waiting 20 minutes for a large mozzarella sticks, cherry limeade and kid’s meal, to have raw food. The mozzarella sticks still had the batter on them and were cold. I sent in a message to let them know there was an issue and they offered me a coupon for a small mozzarella sticks with the purchase of another item. Lol. Like that is helpful or something. I figured I should at least warn other people to check their food before they leave the parking lot.

The pictures speak for themselves. We waited well over 15 mins. for shredded cheese and cold food. First they sent the food out without any cheeses. I guess they were hoping I’d drive off without checking. When I sent it back, they returned it with cold shredded cheese. No one asked if we would be okay with cold shredded cheese, nor was our price adjusted in advance. I’m not sure they even heated up the fries and onion rings.
