What a great spot! Unfortunately I don’t go here as often as I should. The food was fantastic, prices are fair and the service was awesome! My manicotti was absolutely amazing! They also have a great menu that has something for everyone. If you haven’t been, you only have blame, just try not to be mad at yourself for not going sooner.

food was fine, however when we were on our long drive from out of state, we called ahead to ask if they accept gift cards from another illianos (middletown specifically) and they said yes and that any gift cards could be used for any illianos restaurant so we came by for dinner. when it was time for us to pay we give her the gift cards and she says they can’t accept them at this location and could only be used in middletown. i believe they should have honored what they said on the phone especially since i would have not eaten there if they had not taken the gift card 🙁 lucky we had our credit card to pay another way …

I have been coming to here for decades always was a fan. I ordered rigatoni vodka and added shrimp for $8 which I was fine with. After I received the entree there were only 2 shrimp. 4 bucks a shrimp for a local pizza joint is a bit much. I also see the numerous tipping screens when getting take out which only means the owners don’t want to pay the employees but would like the consumers to assist with their wage. After close to 30 years it’s time to say goodbye.

We used to eat here all the time up until about a year ago when one of the staff was really rude about my partners allergies when she had eaten here before. We decided to give it another try and while the service was okay, the food was pretty mediocre for the price. The cheeseburger grinder was literally just those frozen hamburger patties with cheese and lettuce. I mean no pickles, no sort of sauce or dressing. My gfs pasta was swimming in oil. General rule of thumb, your customers are paying to eat something they cant make at home for a fraction of the price. Don’t serve them lazy food that ends in a $50 bill (before tip). Id pass on this place. Not as good as it used to be.
Edit: due to the response: dropped another star due to the remarks made. “Not sure why you took the time to….” sorry, but if your grinder is dry and not that good it is what it is. If your hamburgers taste like frozen burgers then theres something wrong in your process. Can’t stand places that try to diminish bad reviews. Now you get 1 star

The bread was the best thing. Spoons were nice and circle. The food portions were huge that my friend has gone crazy. He couldn’t finish his pasta but decided to get desert. Our server was so nice and lovely. Don’t eat carbonara with spaghetti. Water was amazing.

I love, love, love going to Illianos. It’s always been a comforting, family-style experience for me. However, this past Tuesday I went with three other people and, unfortunately, we didn’t have as great of a visit.

Everything started off wonderfully until dinner arrived. My pumpkin/butternut ravioli came out with shrimp on it, even though I only asked for chicken. The server initially hoped it was a kitchen mistake, but it turned out it was their own. I understand servers are human and mistakes happen, but there was no apology, no compensation, and not even an offer of a dessert to make up for the mix-up.

Because the correction took so long, I had to take my dish to go—my group had already finished eating by the time it was ready. The dish ended up being $25 with the added chicken, which I was willing to pay, until I got home and saw that my leftovers were just four raviolis with not even a full chicken breast on top.

I’m a loyal customer and I truly enjoy this restaurant, which is why this experience stood out so much. I hope it can be used as constructive feedback so future visits can feel like the Illianos I love.

Drove by, saw this spot, and decided to try it. We were greeted in the front and invited to sit in the dining area. The front is a pizza parlor and the back is a dining area. I had a salad and hubby had the seafood special. The price and the portions were great. I took home half of my salad and we paid less than $50 for two meals and drinks. The booths were super comfy and the art work made us feel we were back in Italy. Our waitress was a friendly and funny woman who took our order quickly and checked on us and packed my leftovers. The food was tasty but needed just a little more seasoning. We enjoyed the overall experience but there was a man belching every 2 minutes and a fly that detracted from the experience.

Cute spot.. great atmosphere. Pizza was great! Soup was good too. Fresh homemade rolls, wonderful! I got the chicken Marsala and it was not good… at all.. zero flavor.. no sauce.. overcooked pasta… i still ate it but .. I wouldn’t order it again.. highly recommend using more Marsala wine and reducing the wine with the chicken.

Every Thursday, I stop by Iliano’s Grill for my favorite pizza with extra barbecue sauce and extra cut. What makes the visit so special is the amazing counter worker, Liz. Every time I call to place my order, she already knows it’s me. Before I even say anything, she says, “You want your large barbecue pizza, right?” It always makes me smile because it shows how much she pays attention and cares about her customers.
When I come in to pick up my pizza, Liz is always there with her big smile, greeting everyone so kindly. She gives out little samples, chats with customers, and somehow remembers everyone’s orders. One time, I saw her recognize a guy named Steve and remember his large Buffalo pizza without him even asking! It’s amazing how she remembers so many people and still treats everyone like family. Liz is truly a sweetheart and one of the main reasons I look forward to going to Iliano’s Grill every Thursday.

We had a party of 5 and each ordered a different entree. Everyone of us were more than happy with the meals, portion size and price. The bread was fabulous! The service was exceptional! If I could give more stars for service, I would. Catherine was our waitress and she was awesome! We went because they were doing a fundraiser for OTIS Library and we will be back because of how excellent the restaurant and service is!!
