First time visiting this place. Very nice sports bar. Clean, Service was quick and friendly. I like how they play multiple sports and a lot of T.Vs. The drafts are plentiful and with various flavors. The food was very good. I will diff visit this place when im back in town.

I decided to try Walk On’s in Tuscaloosa recently for the first time (my first at any Walk On’s) and it was a great decision! I arrived not long before closing to place a to-go order and I was lucky enough to have my order taken by Darlena, the service manager. She was AMAZING!!! She gave me a complimentary dessert (donut bread pudding) with a coupon she had and that bread pudding was absolutely scrumptious – coming from a bread pudding “snob”, this is the highest praise possible. The sliders and cheese grits I ordered and enjoyed were also delicious! To sum it up, I cannot recommend Walk On’s in Tuscaloosa highly enough!!! I wasn’t able to enjoy much of the atmosphere since I only picked up a to-go order, but what I did observe was very nice! The food was amazingly good and the service from Darlena was stellar… truly exceptional!

Third visit to Walk-on’s. I have to say, I didn’t love the first two visits and didn’t come back for several years. My son wanted to come here and I agreed, deciding I would try something different. And I’m glad we did!! Third time was the charm!! (Could also be that it has been a couple of years since the first two visits – maybe something changed??)
Anyway, we all 4 had different meals and we all 4 loved what we ordered! Yay!
Our table had cajundillas, fried fish platter, Buffalo chicken sandwich, and a buffalo chicken wrap. I will say that they were heavy on the Buffalo sauce on the wrap – to the point it ran down my hands – and next time I’ll ask for less sauce, but it was still very delicious – just messy!
This visit gets them a 5 star rating!

Our experience at Walk On’s in Tuscaloosa was outstanding. Miles was our server. We eat out frequently and he far surpassed our expectations as a server. He was friendly, personable, attentive and very efficient. The food was some of the best anywhere. Wings, salad and hamburger were all outstanding. The atmosphere was great. They went above and beyond to meet our every need.

My husband and I went early around 2ish on a Friday. We were sat at a table immediately. Our server was Ikesa! She was fantastic! She let us know about the happy hour specials. So we ordered the spinach dip and two Death Valley drinks! Both were wonderful. Word of caution, the Death Valley drinks are not for fancy folk! It is a strong drink but very, very good! Slightly fruity but you can definitely tell it’s an adult beverage. My husband had the shrimp and grits! Oh My! Super yummy. Not your typical shrimp and grits with a tomato based sauce with onions and heavy garlic. The shrimp are stuffed with cream cheese and a sliver of jalapeño pepper wrapped in bacon tossed in a sweet chili glaze on a bed of cheesy, creamy grits–not the dry grits that some places claim are cheese grits. I had the Boom Boom shrimp tacos! I am not a huge fan of putting seafood on a taco…but this .. was delightful! Boom Boom shrimp battered, fried and tossed in a delicate sauce on a bed of fresh cut cabbage in a soft tortilla! Just wow! I got the homemade Ranch to use as a sauce! Yeah! Just wowzers! Heaven. Then perfectly ….I mean perfectly cooked waffle fries with just a bit of Cajun seasoning! These are not the limp waffle fries you get at fast food restaurants, crispy outside with a soft and fluffy inside. We will be back!

Today (10/5/2025) was me and my friends first time trying Walk ons. We wanted to try a place that we hadn’t been before to celebrate my friends birthday. We were seated and the waitress took a little longer than expected to come to our table. We placed our drink orders looked over the menu and were ready to order. We placed our orders and received our appetizers. Our food came and 3/4 of us had a form of pasta. 2 had chicken Alfredo and I had the bayou pasta I believe (crawfish and shrimp). As I tasted my food I immediately spit it back out. The flavor was disgusting because it tasted bland and like noodles with no sauce. My friends believed the same but they were able to eat some of their food. The waitress asked how everything was and we told her everything was bland and she offered us seasonings. The seasonings did nothing but my friends continued to eat. I was offered to receive something else. I order honey hot wings…big mistake. The flavor was good on the first wing no issues. When I bit into the second wing and pulled it out my mouth I saw pink and juices flowing out. I immediately spit it out and showed my friends. We came to the conclusion that it wasn’t cooked all the way. Our waitress came back and asked how the wings were but before I could finish my sentence she said “they’re undercooked aren’t they” this tells me that this situation happens often. She grabbed her manager and the manager did below the bare minimum to solve the issue. She told me how they’re cooked and tried to indicate that it’s normal. She offered to have them recooked but I declined because I no longer wanted anything from that place after that. I was very concerned because I had already consumed one wing so it’s no telling if it was raw as well. My pasta was comped but my wings weren’t and I feel like they should have instead of an excuse being made. This is absolutely outrageous. The food being disgusting is one thing but raw food is unacceptable. Do better! I wish I could upload the disgusting photo.

This was my first time here. I will definitely be back. It was 5 of us, and 4 of us took half of our food home. We were all 5 very full. For the price here, there’s no beating it.

I have to give the food 3 stars … Here’s why,
I came in for a ribeye poboy that’s on the menu online but when I came in they told me they don’t have that anymore now they have ribeye sliders so I said ok. I really have been craving a steak sandwich and this definitely did not satisfy. The food was good but really small with honestly barely any meat whatever. More like an appetizer. Super disappointing. You guys should definitely have a steak sandwich with a steak. I just tell it like it is. Service and atmosphere are great and the drink is also. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
