Gorditas Express is the definition of a hidden gem, the food, the environment, the service, the prices, staff and manager are amazing; top tier. I’ve came a few times and loved it since day one. I work at James Sprunt Community College and make the drive to and from the restaurant when I get the chance to because the food is that good. I also ordered a container of horchata for an event and they made it possible for me, everyone enjoyed the horchata, I asked and she makes it from scratch! It’s amazing and I recommend you go when you get a chance if you want authenticity.

I had ordered to go, but I saw my buddies eating in there; so I decided to stay and eat with them. The waitress Lesly was so polite.I had the Quesabirria’s, they were amazing. And the cucumber water was very well made. Good quality and amazing customer service. I will definitely keep going to them every chance I get!

Such a gem. We stopped here randomly on our way to Wilmington. Best tacos I’ve had in a while. $2.75 per tacos too. I ordered tacos al pastor and they were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

We came in craving Mexican. We were the only people in the restaurant. First we wanted ground beef tacos which they said they didn’t have which was fine so I picked cheese enchiladas. Worst enchiladas I ever had. How does one mess up enchiladas well let me tell you. It was literally shredded, unmelted cheese in a corn tortilla. Seemed like they warmed up the corn tortilla so it didn’t crumble when rolled up, put cheese in it and then rolled it up. All of our food was cold, but how if we were the only people in there. Very disappointed. Worse food ever and now have us trust issues with hole in the spot places.
