We sat outside next to some fishing boats docked at the pier. Very nice atmosphere. Service was fast and the server was able to answer questions and make suggestions. I ordered the grilled yellow fin tuna special with shrimp and my wife ordered the steamed royal reds bucket for one (1 1/2 lbs.). Both entrees were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. It is definitely on our list to return as a favorite!

Good Grub. I had the grilled grouper po boy and she had the chicken bowl. The grouper was outstanding. Very flavorful and moist. The wife enjoyed the chicken bowl. We split a piece of key Lime pie…a little too sweet, but was still very good. We walked from the Perdido Beach Resort….was right across the street.

We were really looking for good crab legs while down in gulf shores. This place was everything we were looking for. Everything from the location, service and the food was perfect.
We both decided to go with the crab boil that came with 2 crab leg groups, corn, potatoes, and gumbo for $40 at the time of writing this.
Our server was Paige I believe and she did fantastic! She took care of everything we needed. Was attentive without being over checking and we never wanted for anything.
All the crab came out of the shell in one piece, like it should. Gumbo was flavorful but not overly spicy. The amount of food was very much worth the value.
We don’t come to the area but once a year but this has become a must stop when we are back in town.

Love that the patio (four tables) was dog friendly. Food was delicious, atmosphere beautiful with the boats from the marina and our server was awesome. Gumbo, stuffed shrimp, royal reds and tuna a must!

Every time I come to Orange Beach, I have to eat here either for lunch or dinner. It’s not a complete trip unless I go here. It is what it is, nothing fancy but really good food. I love the service and I have always been very pleased with everything. My meal came with corn and potatoes and coleslaw. The potatoes were done perfectly and so was the corn. I told them to not bring any coleslaw and they offered to give me extra potatoes and corn, but I was already off my diet a little bit so I declined. You can’t go wrong coming here it’s a great place. I had a couple of cold draft beers to go with mine.

The crab legs were exceptional! The shrimp (reds) were also wonderful. The crabmeat released from the shell easily and was tender and sweet. We only waited about 20 minutes on a Friday night too.

Horrible service upon arrival. We traveled from Memphis to stay in Gulf Shores for a week and wanted to explore the seafood. We saw the open sign, it was 8:20pm, so we decided to give it a try… the 2 hostess looked at my daughter and I with an unfriendly look and sat us at the table. 2-mins later our waitress told us the kitchen was closed (although other families was in the restaurant eating). She told us we are welcome to drink but can’t eat due to slow business and they are about to close (again, other ppl eating). So we left as we felt prejudice vibes. After walking to the car, they immediately turned off the open signage light. So, we drove just 1-mile to Angry Crab Shack and got the BEST service and their seafood boil and gumbo was AMAZING! Gulf Shores Steamer, sorry but I’m NEVER returning and will not recommend to others. To the owner, review your footage and get rid of Horrible staff because it’s causing your business to lose money, oh I’m sure this wasn’t the 1st time they treated (Black ppl this way). When we walked in I thought this may be another decent place, but nothing I would put in the rotation. But, we ordered The Ocean platter and my opinion changed dramatically. The best crab legs and shrimp I have had in recent memory. Fantastic place and we will definitely be back. If you have not tried this place, please do.

This place is SO good! Not too fancy and not too spicy of a place. Great family atmosphere. You get so much food with each meal! The stuffed fish was Amazing! Highly recommend. There was no wait for dinner when we went. Staff were nice and waitress was lovely.
