We began our journey 29 years ago by planning to open a restaurant that would not only provide South Florida with a taste of Mexican food but to create an environment that was not your everyday run of the mill eatery.

I had an excellent visit to this location from start to finish. It was clean and brightly lit. Sofia was a joy at the front counter with a big smile that didn’t quit. She was fast and efficient and friendly. I noticed her interactions during the visit and she treated all the customers like they were important. The food was fresh and had great taste. This restaurant has managed to stay affordable and is a great value. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially this location.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Zona Fresca for years and still consider it one of my favorite spots for fresh, flavorful food. I typically order the shrimp tacos, which are usually delicious and well-balanced. Their taquitos are really good too.
Recently, though, I had an experience that caught me completely off guard. The base of my tacos were loaded with so much raw onion that I had an immediate, involuntary reaction and had to spit it out… something I found embarrassing, especially while dining in. After apologizing profusely to my partner while having a good laugh at myself, I scooped out the remaining onion from the taco and had to take a photo because the experience was one for the books, that’s for sure. Imagine taking a bite out of an apple… except it’s a raw white onion. That pretty much sums it up.
After seeing other food quality comments in recent reviews, I can’t help but wonder if there’s been a change in kitchen staff. That said, the customer service remains excellent, prices are competitive, and the core menu is still strong. I truly believe this is something they can fix, and I really hope they do, because Zona Fresca is still a place I want to love going to.

Very good service even on a busy Thursday night. The food came out within minutes and was good. I got the charred chicken burrito. My only complaint is that it was pretty wet from the beans but other than that I would come back again.

I love how clean this restaurant is and upbeat the atmosphere is as soon as you walk in the door. The food is consistently fresh. I had 2 Chicken Street tacos @$3.50 each. The warm chicken was tender and flavorful. The onion, cilantro, and avocado made the taco taste so fresh. The 2 layers of thin flour tortillas helped keep it all together. I drizzled a fresh lime wedge on them from the salsa bar and it made the lemony dressing even yummier. They offered chips and salsa while I waited. The salsa bar was clean, well stocked and had many offerings. The gentleman took my order with a sincere smile. I can’t say enough about the quality and freshness of the food and the wonderful atmosphere!

From the moment we walked in, everything felt fresh, clean, and welcoming. The food was absolutely outstanding — every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and the presentation was just as impressive as the flavor. You can tell there’s real care put into the quality and preparation.

This location was amazing. The food was not only fresh, cooked perfectly, and incredible. The staff was amazing and super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant itself is spotless and the cleanest location of these that I’ve seen. I probably will never go to a different zona Fresca.

I’ll admit, I had a bias to this chain after not being very impressed by a visit to another restaurant years ago. I would drive by any restaurant with no interest if I ever found myself driving around for something to eat. This location was quite the opposite however. My wife convinced me to give it a shot and I enjoyed the setting. It had a nice feel and the food was decent. I liked the ambiance over the food however. We had a good, quick, family meal.

This was our 1st time eating here. I was surprised how good and tasty everything was. I was worried since it was “fast” food it may not be great. But it was well seasoned! And the people working there were very polite, really good service.

For good place to go for lunch! I was doing errands and had a full schedule so I needed a quick but good quality lunch. I don’t know why I decided to stop by zona Fresca but I was near by and was calling my name so I went in and I’m glad I did. I ordered the taquitos and I chose both chicken and steak which came with rice and beans, lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream. They also gave me chips and salsa which was nice, the way the pandemic has affected many restaurants I’m surprised they still offer that with out charging extra. Anyways the food was really good, I’m not sure if it was because I was starving and hadn’t eaten all day but I loved it. I actually ate all of it, I was full for the rest of the day! I also love their salsa bar such great options, I particularly loved the picked jalapeños and onions, I also got a drink which both ice teas they had were delicious and I definitely would recommend to anyone to definitely go there if your looking for a healthier fast food that taste great. Also the service was nice the people seemed to like their job and were really friendly which is nice to see nowadays because good service is hard to find now. I also liked the menu and would like to go back to get to try more of it.
