As someone who works in the catering and hospitality industry, I tend to approach dining experiences with both appreciation and realistic expectations. Unfortunately, my recent visit fell short in several important areas.
The food did not reflect the standard one would expect at this price point. While presentation was acceptable, the overall quality, balance, and execution did not justify the cost. Given the premium pricing, I anticipated a stronger demonstration of technique and attention to detail.
Service was also inconsistent. While staff were not discourteous, the level of attentiveness and engagement did not align with the expectations of a well-run establishment. Small touches that elevate the guest experience were noticeably absent.
Cleanliness was a particular concern. Our tablecloth was visibly marked, and there were cobwebs in the main seating area. In hospitality, environmental standards are just as important as food quality, and these details significantly impacted the overall impression.
At the prices charged, guests rightly expect a refined and well-maintained experience across all touchpoints. I share this feedback constructively and hope it is received in that spirit, as there is clear potential for improvement.

We booked this family run, Italian restaurant for a birthday treat, and then, coincidentally, were recommended it. It is small but perfect. The range of food is impressive and the quality outstanding. The service was good without being overbearng and the prices very reasonable. The servings were just right. Just the most perfect birthday meal.

Always a lovely meal here. Been 3x in the last year and can recommend the pizzas and chicken dishes. Lasagna and the meatball pasta also great but my seafood pasta last time was a bit watery. Would still go back as couldn’t fault for 2 of the 3 times we’ve been.

I already assumed they don’t accept walk-in customers as per previous experience but I just decided to walk in and the restaurant was completely empty so absolutely all to myself for lunch for an hour at least.

Came here recently with friends and had the best time. The food was so so delicious. The service was incredible and they were friendly, making us feel so welcome as if we were visiting a family friend. They have an adorable courtyard where you can dine out and it is so cozy. I’m definitely bringing everyone I know here. The pistachio tart is a MUST!

Exceptional meal . All the food we had was delicious. Tomato garlic bread is a must . All the sauces in the dishes were so tasty . Will definitely be back .
Although it’s quite small inside , there’s a really nice atmosphere. Staff were all really friendly and nothing too much trouble . Can’t wait for our next visit .

What a lovely little place this is. I’m not a fan of Italian food, but my friends are. I was able to book last minute and with it being so close to Christmas, I was extremely grateful. Well, I’ve been won over. The food was delicious, staff were friendly and funny. I will certainly be booking again in the future!

The best Italian restaurant and the best Italian food I like in UK!!!!! They are so welcoming and warm. A very lovely place to go. Any dishes with Chicken is great! The pizza is nice and fresh. Pasta amazing too!!!! Hope to come next time!!
