As luck would have it, we stumbled across this amazing restaurant, in Aspen. This @hickoryhousebbq is the real deal. It was featured on that @guyfieri @diners_driveins_dives show! The ribs were amazing and we ended up buying some extra jugs of their barbecue sauce to take home!!
The service was friendly and professional. Although we came in at 8:00 PM we were amazed at how many people, a lot of large families, came in after us. Obviously, this is a great place for locals.

Really good food with a fair price for the Aspen area. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich, and it was a good portion, right flavors, and honestly more than the sandwich can handle.
The fries are good too, and the staff is helpful.

Got the munchies last night so I ordered the wife and I 2 milk shakes and a rack of ribs. The milkshakes were tasty and the ribs hit the spot.
Saw their breakfast menu and went back the morning to dine in for a late breakfast. The food was great I enjoyed the eggs Bennie with short stack of pancakes. The wife had the chicken and waffles. All of our dishes were good. Solid home cooked meal. The waiter got us what we needed to have a good dinning experience. He was not very personable but did his task. Will drop by again.

Fantastic food as reasonable as it gets in the area. Generous portions and tasty. It came recommended to us and they were right. They squeezed us in for last kitchen call and it was great!

Aspen Colorado’s Hickory House is hands down the best barbecue restaurant in the state of Colorado I think because of the signature sauces and the food, not because of the great chill atmosphere and the beautiful mountain views which it boasts. Definitely if you go to Aspen Colorado you have to try Hickory House. If this review helps you please give it a like

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but I am so disappointed. Came here for breakfast after seeing so many good reviews and was so disappointed. I got the fried chicken and waffles and the chicken was not frozen fried chicken at all home battered price. My partner got the steak and eggs and it was all fat, terrible flavor. Nothing about this place is ma and pa cooking.

Best bbq we’ve had and we’ve tried quite a few places during our travels all over North America. We ordered the 3 item Protein Power which came with pulled pork, beef brisket but substituted the chicken breast with the old Colorado smoked sausage, rack of pork ribs and dry rub wings. The bbq meat was tender, moist and seasoning was unique in a good way. The dry rub wings are tasty and juicy. The pork ribs were cooked perfectly, the meat comes off the bone. Price is unbeatable as well. We’ll be back again!

Wow what a great place to grab food in Aspen!
We were lucky to visit on a day when the weather was nice so they had all the doors open and the breeze was amazing. But let’s not miss the food.
Food was delicious. We ordered the full rack of ribs to share and some jalapeño cheese sausage. Wow! Ribs were good but the show stopper was the sausage. So good.

Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and decided to eat here on a recent trip to Aspen. It did not disappoint.
We shared an order of Onion Rings. We each had different entrees. One had the ribeye sandwich, one had the pulled pork dinner & lastly one had a hamburger.
The food was delicious! The wait staff was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend a visit to Aspen Hickory House if you are in Aspen.
