From it’s quiet ambiance, to it’s wonderful food, Das Stein Haus is a Inland PNW treasure. Whenever we visit, it is usually with the whole family, and more than likely for a celebration. Dinner plates are very robust, and while our two sons can get it all down, the Wifey and I always have a nice snack to enjoy the next day. Their imported German bier always tastes fresh, even though it comes from another continent, and of course pairs well with the meal. We love everything about this place…

I’ve lived close to this place for a long while and have not had the appropriate opportunity to visit and try it out. I must say the wait was well worth it. This place is great. The service is 5 star, the meals are good and hearty just like something you would cook at home, the decor and environment is super cool and I will be making this a regular stop. The beer selection too, they have some of the best beer I’ve ever had. Come in and try it out they have something for a beer and food fanatic, or a safe eater and drinker.

I will definitely eat here again and again and again! Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast sandwich is made to perfection and so fulfilling. The Hawaiian chicken salad is the best salad I have ever had, made with quality greens and feels like you’ve given your body something so healthy! The beef and pork stroganoff are the best I’ve had at any restaurant hands down. This restaurant puts their heart and soul into their food and it shows. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you for the wonderful food you serve and the heart you put into all you do!

They have a fair selection of German dishes. While they are not perfect, some of the flavors are there.
Good Portion Size, Good Flavor.
Reasonable pricing.
Atmosphere is okay in the dining room, the bar is loud.
Our sever did okay.
The Brats and Kraut was good.

The pretzel with beer cheese and spaetzel are great starters. The frikadellon plate with home fried potatoes and saurkraut were magnificent, enough food to split between two.

Stopped for a German breakfast- brat and eggs with hash-browns, corn beef hash and eggs with German pancakes. Brat and pancakes were standouts of the meal. Plates were served full (empty when leaving). Great breakfast choices served only on weekends. Did not indulge in any German alcohol but there was a lot to choose from as this is a bar as well. Dining side decor could be enhanced for a more German experience. Staff was friendly. Overall enjoyed our visit and meal.

We LOVE Stein Haus. My husband is from Germany and he will tell you that the food is authentic here. Even the people who work here are from Germany, at least two of that we know. My husband loves having a little food from home every once in a while and this place hit the spot. He can even converse with the employees in german which you don’t find too often around here. The schnitzel is amazing and the pretzel and potato salad are very classic german styles. The cost is very reasonable. The German bakery that was here in the valley closed down so now this is the only place that we have found to get authentic German food. The World Market is good for getting sweets and snacks but German food is not readily found. We don’t eat out much but we love this place and we go every few months, which is alot for us.
