Came to this location after visiting the 3rd street Covington location after leaving there bc of POOR service! All of the employees at this location were fantastic! Everyone greeted me either verbally or with a
Visual gesture. Even the employee who was eating her meal on her lunch break. I’ve been a server for 10 years and can easily spot poor or excellent service. Perhaps these fine employees of this location should host a training seminar for the 3rd street location and teach them atleast the basics of customer service! Thank you to the team here for the superb service! Now I’m off to enjoy this meal while finding a nice spot to park and drive back to home (Illinois)

First time ever being to a Waffle House as we don’t have very many of these in Michigan. But driving through Ohio and Kentucky they are everywhere! So we had to try it, and it didn’t disappoint! Everything was good. I had the waffle house favorite, which came with eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and a waffle. My kiddo ate his entire peanut butter waffle and loved it, and he’s a picky eater! The servers were really nice and friendly. I liked the vibe of this place, old diner style where you can sit and watch them cook and they even have a jukebox.

General manager should give these people a pat on the back. Clearly they have great higher and mid management. Leadership.
Was listening to the shift supervisor training a new crew member. He was good. He promoted a positive work environment with a witty joke or two. Used these to reinforce the concepts he was teaching. Well done.

Went here on Christmas Eve with my family, the food wasn’t bad but the manager on shift was quite literally the rudest person I’ve ever met. Not only to customers and their inquiries but especially to her own employees. She CONTINUOUSLY put her server (who was on her first day) down as well as the rest of her staff. It got so bad to the point we confronted her and she responded with “sorry I’m a manager doing my job.” What a shame, an absolute parasite to what is normally a good company.

I ordered my usual Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt Plate to be prepared same as always. I requested my hash browns to be cooked until dark brown, smothered (onions), & peppered (jalapeno peppers). What I got was burnt sandwich bread, & cheese on my hash browns instead of jalapenos. I ate my food & said everything was fine because I’m not going to waste food like that. It wasn’t bad tasting it was just made wrong. Everything else was on point.

Tonight’s visit was extremely disappointing. After being completely ignored for the first 15 minutes, we then waited over 25 minutes and still had no drinks and missing silverware. It probably took 45 minutes total to get everything. Meanwhile multiple tables seated after us were FULLY served.
Our server, Kayla, offered little to no acknowledgment, which only added to my frustration. We were very patient and understanding, but the lack of basic service made the experience unacceptable. If it weren’t for another server, Angel, we wouldn’t have gotten our drinks, silverware or food.
I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this visit absolutely warranted one.

Best waffles around! The Wilder location is the absolute best quality and service! We live down the road and will order Waffle house some Saturday mornings, when we are late getting off work or need something quick! Love how you can order online now and just pick it up!
