Morton’s was a stellar experience! The food was absolutely Deeelicious! The service excellent and spot on. Food was cooked to perfection. The environment is quite intimate so perfect for date nights or other engagements. Food is pricey but worth every dime. 10⭐️. Definitely a spot to check out visiting Atlanta, or a special occasion to impress, or treat your significant other!

I recently dined at Morton’s Steakhouse in Atlanta, and overall it was a good experience. For appetizers, I had the Wagyu beef dumplings, which were excellent—very flavorful and well prepared.

For our main courses, we ordered the rack of lamb, a six-ounce Wagyu bavette, and a six-ounce filet paired with a lobster tail. The steaks and lamb were cooked well and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lobster tail was undercooked, and the entrées were not served as hot as expected.

On the positive side, the lobster mac and cheese was outstanding—rich and tasty—and the spinach and mushroom side dish was also very good.

Despite a few issues with temperature and the lobster tail, I would still give Morton’s another try, as the overall quality and flavors were solid.

No military discount.

After a disappointing experience at Morton’s last week, I shared a review about what happened. Their team reached out quickly to make things right, and I truly appreciated the prompt follow-up and genuine effort to resolve the situation. The front-of-house manager, Laura, kindly invited us back for bubbles and bites—and this is exactly the level of hospitality I had hoped for.

From the moment we arrived, Laura was welcoming and compassionate. We were seated right away, and David took excellent care of us at the bar. This visit was a complete turnaround—zero complaints. We enjoyed the chicken and burger sliders as part of the Veuve Clicquot promotion, and both were delicious. We also decided to try the ribeye steak along with the smoked gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes—everything was fantastic. I loved my raspberry apple martini and a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne as well.

This was a much better dining experience all around. I’d recommend visiting during the week if possible, as the bar area was far less crowded than on the previous Friday we went. Overall, thank you to Morton’s Atlanta for going above and beyond to smooth over what had been a rough start. The hospitality was greatly appreciated.

I had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever encountered at Morton’s Steakhouse Atlanta. We stopped in around 5:15pm on a Friday evening hoping to grab a few quick bites at the bar. The restaurant advertises a 5:00pm opening, and although the bar area was full, we were happy to wait for seats.

We spoke directly with both the host and the general manager, who confirmed that we would be next in line for bar seating. At the time, there were no guests waiting in the dining room or lobby—just us. Everything seemed straightforward.

What was supposed to be a short wait turned into nearly an hour. As more people began arriving, I checked in with the host to reconfirm that we were still next for available seats. To my surprise, she suddenly changed her story and told us that the bar was “first come, first serve” and that whoever physically reached the seats first would get them—completely contradicting what we had already been told.

Confused, I asked to speak with the general manager again. He reassured us that we would, in fact, be seated next. Shortly after, two seats opened at the bar—and unbelievably, the host instructed two other guests to rush up and take them. We were stunned. So were the other people who had been waiting and witnessed the entire situation.

We requested the general manager once more. He returned visibly upset with the host and acknowledged that a plan had been in place to seat us next. However, the guests who had taken the seats refused to return to the host stand, and just like that, the seats were gone.

At that point, we had waited patiently and politely for over an hour, only to be treated with confusion, miscommunication, and total disregard. We left without being seated, without eating, and without any attempt from management to make things right.

For a restaurant with Morton’s reputation, this level of disorganization and poor hospitality was shocking. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was unacceptable.

Terrible experience.

We visited after seeing a viral Instagram post about the Veuve collaboration and were really excited to experience it in person. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.

When we arrived at the bar, we were not greeted or acknowledged for quite some time. After waiting, we eventually were able to get a drink and place a dinner order, but throughout our visit no one checked on us, asked if we needed anything, or followed up once our food arrived. The fries were hard and cold. However, the chicken smash burger was delish!

The most disappointing part was learning after our meal was served that the Veuve fry holder—one of the main reasons we came—was already sold out. This was never communicated when we ordered, which left us feeling misled and frustrated.

Overall, the lack of attentiveness and communication really took away from what should have been a fun, elevated experience tied to a special collaboration. We left disappointed and hope management addresses these service issues, especially when promoting viral or limited-time offerings.

Every Christmas my family & I share dinner at a local restaurant in the city. This year I wanted steak. That was totally delicious. Some of my sides were not to great. For the cost I just expected better food quality. Overall, we will visit again soon.

Great steak restaurant. Dry aged ribeye, Cajun ribeye, and a filet were our steaks, all cooked to perfection. Appetizers, salad, and sides, tuna, spinach and mushrooms, wedge, onion soup, were all excellent as well. Very good adult beverages too!

Service was attentive and our waiter answered all of our questions with suggestions of his own. Validated parking just across the street made this an easy trip down town.

Fillet mignon was a tad dry, but the tomahawk is a must try! End the meal with their lava cake. Unforgettable.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner last night around 8:30 with reservations. Service was alright my main issue was the food and the lack of response. We ordered the wagyu dumplings, crab cake, 16oz ribeye (medium) the Filet & Lobster (medium rare), brussel sprouts, truffle fries, and then later asparagus. To start our apps were perfectly fine, very delicious and the wines we paired went perfectly via recommendation from our server. However, getting into the entree my boyfriend’s medium steak was overcooked, we were chewing for almost 3 minutes… no joke. My steak was fine however my lobster was incredibly salty, as soon as I put it in my mouth my face puckered up, then as I tried to chew through it I kept getting more waves of salt. I let my boyfriend try it and he had the same reaction, then I asked my server about it and he responded it was the old bay. I cook with old bay and it’s never been that overwhelming/offputting. I tried to power through but it deterred me from my meal. As for the sides, the menu did not disclose that the brussel sprouts were cooked in and came with bacon inside it, I do NOT eat bacon, I haven’t ate bacon or pork in 13 years so that was incredibly disappointing. We swapped it out with the asparagus but they were underwhelming as well. The truffle fries were delicious however and I decided to fill up on those. Overall we were very unsatisfied with the meal and won’t be back, the lack of action to rectify the issues, like maybe recooking the lobster or something left us feeling unheard. We didn’t even bother to take the leftovers with us, it was that bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for the price youre paying, which our meal totaled over $300.
