Came here the second time, both times was greats, but the second time was phenomenal.
Our server name is Justin, he is a funny and nice gentleman, would love to come back again and have Justin as our server.
We ordered 2 Lava makis, Lobster Maki, 2 sliders, 2 Black Cods, a lobster roll, and 21 day aged rib eye. The lava maki was delicious, it’s spicy, sweet and smokey. Lobster Maki was crispy, savory, and very light, would consider it as an appetizer. I personally didn’t try the slider but the 2 people who ate it said it was PHENOMENAL. The black code is very good, the sauce tastes like sweet soy sauce, the fish it self was soft and tender. The ribeye was soooo good, it comes with mash potatoes topped with the whole ribeye, brussel sprouts, and a side of truffle dressing. We got the ribeye medium rare, it was very soft and chewy, the mash potato is so creamy and it melts your mouth. The truffle dressing is for the steak and you cant have it without the dressing. The brussel sprouts are already perfectly seasoned and the best i had. By the end of the day, I would have the lava maki any time of the day, week, and year.
As for dessert, we got the butter cake. It was none of our birthdays but Justin noticed me oooh-ing at another table’s birthday cake with a torch candle, he decided to give us a torch candle as well the torch ended our night with a big smile.
We will definitely be back again!

Adachi is one of our favorite spots, we came here for Valentine’s day and the set up was so cute! The adachi flame and the zen maki roll are our favorite rolls that we’ve tried so far! Always a great experience! 10/10 recommend

Delicious food. We are not experienced with sushi. Our server took the time to suggest menu items, gave us time to make selections and let us know we could order as we ate, if desired. Food is reasonably priced. Full bar with top shelf cocktails. Highly recommend the yasai maki, lava maki with spicy honey sauce was to die for and waygu gourmet burger was also delicious. The dessert menu looked great but we were too full to try it. It’s cozy and small so I recommend reservations.

My wife and I celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary on July 11, 2025, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. From the moment we walked in to the time we were seated, we were treated with warm hospitality that set the tone for the evening.
The drinks were excellent, and the food was truly outstanding. We ordered the lobster tacos, rock shrimp tempura, Hamachi, and Hiroo. Each dish was delicious — the lobster tacos were light yet flavorful, the rock shrimp was hearty and satisfying, and the Hamachi was packed with fresh, vibrant flavor.
The ambiance struck the perfect balance of upscale and inviting, ideal for a special occasion. We also appreciated that the restaurant manager stopped by our table to personally welcome us and check in, which made the night feel even more special.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. 5/5 — a wonderful spot for celebrating life’s milestones.

This place was an amazing experience. The food was delicious, but the service truly stole the show. If you go, ask for Makaela, she was incredibly sweet and absolutely outstanding at her job. If I come back, I’d want her again without a doubt. 10/10!

Tried Adachi for Birmingham Burger Month and I’m still thinking about that burger! The “Oops I Did It Again” had layers of flavor.. the Wagyu patty, pork belly, aioli, everything worked perfectly. Even started my meal with sushi and it didn’t stand a chance. Service and ambiance were both top tier.

The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I had the best sushi, and every dish was incredibly tasty. The decorations were really cute. Our waiter, Anson, was phenomenal! There were two girls and one other guy bringing us our food, they were all very kind. All of the girls working here were so beautiful, and the clientele was amazing. We will definitely be back soon—this place is truly fantastic.

Yesterday, 10/19/25, my husband and I went in to have the best of Birmingham Burger. It was our first time visiting the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely. We got married during cherry blossom season in DC, so the decor spoke to me. The hostess was kind and sat us early as we arrived about 20minutes before our 5pm reservation. She sat us at a 2 top by the hostess stand. Sat for a while before our server came over. He was a younger kid. He was nice enough, but can’t remember his name. We told him we were going to split the burger, but also got a sushi roll and the pork belly buns as our appetizer. My husband ordered a sprite and I ordered an iced tea. My husband’s sprite was delivered, but my iced tea wasn’t.. The sushi roll and buns came out. The buns were good, but only with the spicy sauce. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We were halfway through the roll when our server came over and asked if we wanted wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. We said no, but I said I would love my iced tea. He said. “Oh I thought it came out” and went and got it. It had been easily 20minutes by then, if not longer. He didn’t check on us. He was too busy schmoozing a party of ladies most of the time. Every time we were looking for him he was at their table. My husband had to flag him down to get a refill. The burger was dropped at our table. As my husband was cutting it in half, our waiter wandered over and said,”I was gonna have it cut, but I see you’ve got it.” The burger was lights out! So juicy and just chefs kiss! The fries and spicy ketchup were soo good and crunchy! I sat with an empty glass since before the burger was done being eaten. We had prebussed our table, and were waiting for him to come over for at least five minutes. He came asked us if we’d like dessert. Then asked me if I wanted a refill. Um, no! Honestly, for such a restaurant to have such poor service in hoity toity Birmingham, was very disappointing! We’ve been to some of the other spot for “The Best Of Birmingham Burger” spot at had exemplary service. We purposely go dressed in a manner of lesser to see what we get. We are those people. And we tip accordingly. We tipped him 15%, I told my husband ten for the awful service but my husband is a generous man. We are normally 25-35%. It wasn’t warranted in this instance. I only took a pic of the sushi roll we had.
