Cameo Grill

In my opinion the atmosphere was nice. Cute little place. Waitress was nice abd punctual. The food on the other hand was absolutely aweful. Spent 40 bucks for 2 on breakfast. Both of us ordered different foid and neither one of us ate . The home fries were basically a smooshy mess of grease. The eggs tasted like the same grease the potatoes were soaked in, tasted like old dirty grease that had gotten way to hot . The sausage gravy and biscuits were mushy.ive heard for years how good this place was and always wanted to try it. Well lesson learned I will not go back nor would I suggest it to anyone.

This place is incredibly ” okay “. I waited 30 minutes for a single cheeseburger, they charge an extra $5 for fries. And then I get soda water and they charge me per glass. I spent more on my drinks than I did on the mediocre burger. I’m not a local so I’m not impressed check it out for yourself.

The servers were slow to check back on us. Husband wanted a refill on his coffee but they never came back till we were ready to leave. And it was dead surprisingly. But we do love the breakfast here.

The waitress was nice but the food is not. This place used to be amazing to come to, but the kitchen staff is no longer producing what this place used to serve well. The home fries were underdone, toast not even toasted, and no jelly on the table; even when we asked for some, it never came and we had to go get a jelly caddy off another table. I used to love coming here, but it has changed. Even when asked how everything was, and we explained the above mentioned—the manager said, “the kitchen goes as fast as they can and will miss the “extra crispy” special note.”
And that next time we need to say ‘extra extra crispy.’ We are here at 11:10am and they are not busy at all…the table behind us also just received their food and having problems themselves.

Where do I begin. Ordered coffee, it was delivered, no utensils. Had to ask for that. Placed food order. The waitress was having a hard time writing it on her order form. She was dressed not professional at all to deal with the public. She delivered our food. Didn’t check on us later to see if all was well. It wasn’t. The hamburger was raw. The young girl who cleared up our plates, has no personality to actually work in the public environment. We usually have good service, good food. This was very unusual. Not sure if I can recommend this restaurant.

They do a good breakfast, I don’t like the new buns for the cameo burger so I stick to the smaller versions that use a regular bun. Coneys are still on point. The fresh cut fries are great if you can get them hot out the fryer. Today I had fish and salad. The fish and fries are crispy and the salad is simple with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the chili too.
