I tried this place for the first time today and it surprised me how good it was and how the restaurant was not busy. The server was very attentive, and quick. The sushi came out very fast and the fish was delicious and rice was soft and fluffy. The price is very good for what you get here.

They updated the new price for dinner AYCE is 32.99 +tax, that’s definitely not worth with the quality of food. The menu is not too many, sashimi is not fresh as I expected. With this price you can find another restaurant that’s better.

My family and I were lucky enough to come at dinner changeover, thinking we were going to be paying a monstrous bill we were treated to a very affordable bill. The food was prepared fresh and very quickly we managed to spend nearly an hour with great music and a well maintained dining room, friendly staff made us feel more like welcomed guests than diners looking for a meal.
The food was a combination of flavourful as well as visually appealing, my only downside is that I couldn’t eat more.
Would recommend anybody to come to this location and be treated to the same experience we had.

Overall the experience was good. The servers are still kind. This wasn’t our first time coming and the food that was served before was better.
For food we ordered 25 chicken wings but we only got 16 out of the 25. We also ordered 2 portions of Chicken Katsu but only received 1. The calamari was also really dark.
There was also a piece of hair that was in the ice cream (not sitting at the top but inside).

This place has really improved over the years. Highly recommend as an affordable middle-ground sushi spot.
Great variety of food items. Sashimi was fresh and served on ice. Rolls were tasty and they had some unique ones. The only items that needed improvement were some of the beef dishes (enoki rolls and beef teriyaki were both overcooked/tough). The fried items like tempura and fried cheese wontons were done very well, not too oily or mushy. My favourite was the king roll and the fried coconut milk dessert.
Service was great and the restaurant was quiet and relaxing with many booths available. We love sushi but can’t afford to always go to the super fancy places that are $50/person. Overall this was a great experience for what the price was and we will be back. We paid with cash and got a 10% discount. Total came to $134 before tip for 4 adults.

The restaurant looks run down from the outside, giving the impression that the owner doesn’t care much for its maintenance. However, once inside, it’s pretty decent, with plenty of space and seating and it can get busy here.
The all-you-can-eat menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from, and I’d say the food tasted good and fresh. Don’t expect a lot of flavour from sushi.
For the all-you-can-eat, there’s a 90-minute time limit, but they usually don’t keep track of it if the place isn’t busy.

I’ve been going to sushi 99 for years. Never wrote a review. But the last time I was there last week I decided I’d share because I was thinking about it.
I think this particular place has alot going for it. If not the decor which has always been a bit to dark for my taste- I do and have enjoyed the sushi and other dishes that they serve here with many a friend or family. They are well established and have been at that location for a long while and the last time I was there I was served by Jeet and also a lovely lady whom I didn’t get the name of. Usually the food is good but this time around it was very good! Flavors were on point and the meats we ordered weren’t over cooked and had the perfect amount of sauce and or marinade on them.

I went for lunch with my son. We were greeted my Wendy, a very friendly staff. My son asked for a specific seat, with no hesitation, she looked around and smiled indicating that the seat was available.
Service was prompt. Wendy brought our drinks answered my son’s questions quietly.
My son placed his order on the tablet provided and within five minutes,b the first order was on our table.
The salmon hand rolls are my favorites. Other orders followed in such timely manner.

Came here 2 days ago for first time, and were pleasantly impressed.
We opted to order “à la carte”, as my wife didn’t think she could handle the all you can eat option.
Took us a while to choose from the large menu, and ordering was a breeze. The staff was helpful and gave us insight on some of the items we weren’t sure about.
The food arrived at our table fairly quickly, and we enjoyed all the unique flavors of our dishes. The eel sushi was definitely our favourite.
We will return ne,t time we have craving for delicious sushi.
