Gran Via Buffet at WinStar World Casino and Resort is exactly what you expect from a buffet—but the Sunday breakfast takes it to another level.
I usually stop in for breakfast, and there’s a sweet lady at the omelet station who makes my omelet perfect every single time. That consistency alone keeps me coming back. Fresh ingredients, cooked just right, and always with a smile—it makes the whole experience feel a little more personal than your typical buffet stop.
Everything else is what you’d expect from a solid casino buffet, but that omelet station is the real highlight for me. And of course, if the casino winnings are looking good, she’s definitely getting a tip—well deserved every time!
If you’re there on a Sunday morning, don’t skip it.

This was my first time coming to this buffet and got it comped. If I paid , I would be pretty upset. The food was dry and appeared to be sitting out for an extended period of time. The brisket was good, creamy horseradish made it. The chicken tasted off, the fish cooked to death and dried out to the point it wasn’t even white, it was dry and dark like the breading. Idk who’s in the back but fire them or at least train them again.

Seems like they raised the price from $25 to $40 just because it’s New Year’s Day . They found the cheapest seafood you can ever buy and put it on the buffet. What a shame. I thought buffets in the casino are not for making money . I was wrong .win star 你这样的赌场是不会吸引到客人的。

Went for Friday night buffet, and it was marvelous. Ribs have hickory smoke flavored. It’s not only smelled good but tasted good. Prime ribs are awesome. Lots of deserts. We were stuffed! We can’t do this very often, but it’s sure worth the trip.

My previous visits here weren’t all that great but this place has changed so much. The price is reasonable ($27) for all the options & different choices they have. The food has greatly improved. I tasted a wide variety of foods, salads, deserts. I usually find at least one thing I dont like but everything was amazing. The brisket & turkey were perfectly done & the flavor of everything was definitely recommend & will be back very soon.

I (latina) had an uncomfortable experience at this restaurant that I feel is important to share.
My boyfriend’s family(Caucasian )paid for their meal and went to sit down. My boyfriend and I paid separately right behind them. After paying, my boyfriend went to the restroom while I went to sit with the family. Before entering the dining area, an employee stopped me and asked how many people I was with. I explained that my boyfriend and I had just paid and that our family was already seated.
I showed the employee my receipt as proof that I paid, but she still would not allow me to go to the table and instead made me call my boyfriend’s mom to come to the front to confirm. She continued looking at me as if she didn’t believe me, which was very uncomfortable and embarrassing.
What made the situation more confusing is that when my boyfriend came in afterward, he was not stopped or questioned at all.
I understand that restaurants need to make sure people have paid before entering, but once a customer shows a receipt, there shouldn’t be a need to treat them with suspicion or make them prove themselves further. The situation made me feel singled out and unwelcome.

As far as buffets are concerned, there was plenty of variety, service was impeccable. The best part was the dessert spread.

Love Winstar but this buffet is not good at all. Doesn’t even come close to a bad Golden Corral. One of their major problems is they let the food sit under the heat lamps for way too long. Just walk the buffet line and look at how dry everything is from just being blasted by heat lamps all day. Even the “fresh” lines where they have salad, fruit and desserts. A lot of the veggies just sit there wilted and wet looking. They need to do better on the presentation.
The service is always good though. The waiters/waitresses are always on top of the refills and usually nice as well as the front desk people. Just need to make the food better!

I’ve been here countless times and I will say there are times where some of the food wasn’t all that great lacking flavor or it’s just old food but for the most part it’s a good place to go eat especially decent for a buffet style restaurant
The food pictured was very good as it was mostly Italian cuisine but there are numerous genres of food such as Asian, Mexican, American, Italian & Sea Food
The dessert selection is very unique and most dishes are delicious
Be sure to use your Winstar card upon paying for meals as this will save you around $4 off the total
