very disappointing experience I had at the Popeyes location in Meridian on November 17, 2025,
While going through the drive-thru, I experienced an unusually long wait time. When I finally reached the window, the cashier was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes at me and, in a dismissive and unprofessional tone, told me that she didn’t care whether I wanted to wait or not. She showed no regard for customer service. The employee was a heavier-set young woman with arm tattoos, which may help with identification. I took a picture of how ridiculous this drive through looked and I hope the owner takes consideration on customers and trains workers more.

I had the surf and turf this time around, but the tenders were thin and shriveled up. Nothing like they used to be. They used to be plump and juicy. Looks like those days are gone. The shrimp was OK, but not worth the $6.00 price tag for both.

This was the best Popeyes experience we have ever had. The customer service was excellent and the vibes were immaculate. Whatever we needed, the workers were there to hear our requests with open hearts and soft voices. From the smiles on the worker’s faces to the cleanliness of the establishment, we will be sure to come again!

The workers here are rude! We ordered tenders and received chicken. We did not realize this until we got home…after waiting for 28 minutes for our order to begin with. I called to explain their mix up and I was yelled at that I didn’t need to “yell” at her. I was definitely not yelling!! She gave me the option to come get the tenders or I could come in another time. We went to get the tenders and the girl at the register actually swore at my granddaughter and dropped an F bomb at her! Highly unprofessional!! Very rude!! She definitely should not be the front of the restaurant treating customers this way!! We will not be back! Along with everyone else I tell! And the chicken has gone downhill, Canes is way better and right around the corner from them!

Downloaded app in lobby& still managed to put order in for the wrong store (same street 2 miles away). Cashier was awesome and transferred our order& even apologized for our mistake. He was awesome. Chicken tasted great as usual.

I’ve been a loyal Popeyes fan for years, and I’m genuinely frustrated. We love Popeyes so much, we go out of our way to drive to this location—especially since the one on Fairview is often closed. However, after the last THREE visits, I feel like I need to say something.
Every time we go between 7-8:30 pm, they are OUT of classic dark meat. We’ve tried to make the best of it and just get spicy, but this time? They were out of *both* by 8 pm, and they close at 11 pm! That is completely unacceptable, especially when it’s not even the end of the night yet.
The food is great, but the service at this location is seriously lacking. The employees are not rude, but they seem completely clueless about restocking or communicating about the lack of menu items.
I really want to continue loving this place, but at this point, I’m just disappointed. Popeyes needs to figure out how to keep their menu stocked, especially during peak hours!

If you go through the drive thru ALWAYS double check your order is correct. I’ve been here several times and they haven’t gotten it right the first time once. This time they gave us completely unseasoned “blackened” chicken and when we complained they said it was normal and did not replace it. Photo of what was given and a picture of what it should look like included. Completely unacceptable.

When we pulled up to the speaker, we were greeted with a cold “order when you’re ready” and nothing else. We ordered a 5 pc tender meal and a 3 pc tender meal, both spicy. After being asked to pull forward despite not a single other person being in front of or behind us for the 10+ mins we had to sit there and wait, we were given our meals, both 5pc and both not spicy (so I’m guessing we were charged for 2 5pcs but we weren’t given a receipt either so I have no idea). So we waited extra time for the wrong food and it was $30 for two people to have the wrong dinner…

Why would you answer a business phone with “who is this?” And proceed to use the nastiest most foul attitude I’ve ever heard in my entire life. If you don’t like people then don’t work where you have to interact with people. I understand people have bad days and such as I have worked 6+ years in good and service but nothing accounts for that amount of unprofessionalism.
