Popped in here for a treat on a snowy Monday afternoon. Such a fun and interesting variety of Latino style helado/ice cream, fruity sorbets, popsicles, and juice/jugo drinks. The flavorful cucumber lime was so refreshing and delicious l wanted to drink a gallon of it. However, this jugo does have quite a bit of sugar in it so you need to be cautious when indulging. I love all things mango so I chose the mango sorbet, while my friend chose the vanilla con pasas. The scoops were generous and tasted authentically homemade.
Creamy, flavorful, and quite tasty. The mango tasted like it was frozen chunks of fresh fruit, blended with a little lime juice. I’ve had sorbets and many places but none could hold the candle to La Michoacana.
This intensely pink shop was spotlessly clean as were the restrooms. The staff was very friendly and kind, answering all of my questions about the different flavors.
One of the coolest things about this place is they have regular and spicy versions of a couple of the ice creams, including the mango. Some friends and I are planning on heading over there this weekend and I am definitely going to try the caliente mango. Ice cream is amazing year-round, and I highly recommend you check this place out. It’s easy to find in the Home Depot shopping center out by the mall.

Decent Mexican snacks. I got elote vaso and fresas con crema. The elote was made perfectly with plenty of cotija and mayo. The fresas con crema was packed with delicious and fresh strawberries and a wonderful crema. I can’t wait to try their horchata and I will definitely be back!
They also have tons of ice cream choices and plenty of wonderful refreshing drinks and snacks that would be perfect for the scorching hot days we have been having recently. If you just got done shopping at Home Depot or PetSmart, stop in, it’s right next door!

We ended up here because we were looking for real ice cream that didn’t come from a chain and we were disappointed when we only had one option. We couldn’t believe Grand junction didn’t have more real (homemade) ice cream locations. After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try!
We all had ice cream (coconut, strawberry, Oreo, and caramel). Everyone thought it was pretty good. They had two staff members. One who spoke very good English and Spanish and I feel like she was translating for the other staff member who was more quiet and possibly only spoke Spanish. We thought the staff was very friendly and accommodating and we had no problem asking questions or communicating our order. Conveniently, this place is right next to a Mexican restaurant. If you were looking to have a full Mexican food experience you could fulfill dinner and Mexican treats between the two places. Highly recommend!

I come here a lot, and their ice cream is so good! They have very diverse flavors and they also have very good snacks in case you’re not in the mood for ice cream. Their churros can be chocolate or strawberry filled, and both flavors are delicious! Very nice staff as well and a very cozy environment. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have great Mexican snacks as well as good ice cream and drinks!

The staff here are super friendly, and I loved how each ice cream selection was labeled! Trust me IYKYK you can’t say those things about some Michoacanas! The menu also included a variety of salty and tangy snacks ensuring it has a little something for everyone. The atmosphere was so welcoming, even though it was a little chilly inside. Overall, it was a delightful experience!
