Rockwood was always ok to me.
The drinks were great but the food was not the best to me. Well… things changed. Went there tonight and we noticed that the menu card looked different. New items and they all sounded very nice. We learned that they changed the menu 2 wks ago. And OmG! The food/plates look unbelievable. Presentation is completly diff and the quality of the food is 1oo times better than what it used to be. The food was delicious! Rockwood just jumped up on my fav-restaurant list. Highly recommend!

Well i’m glad that I wasn’t even a little bit hungry..Here’s what a $12.95 entree Caesar Salad looks like. I omitted the croutons but if I had not I’m sure they would have sprinkled in two or three based on the generosity of the other components. Can you spot the Shaker can Parmesan? Look closely it’s literally about a shake. Such generosity with the dressing as well. This establishment couldn’t even provide enough Romaine to fill an average sized bowl. Looks like Caesar Salad 101 education is in order. FILL THE BOWL with green leaves not the trashy white part, SHAVE some REAL Parmesan in there and how about an entree sized dressing as well. Enjoy the picture below as a reference. Plus note that my husband ordered a cheese steak with sliced rib eye, provolone and peppers and received generous amounts of all. The difference in price between my ” entree” salad and his cheesteak was $4. Hey Rockwood thank you so much for this one and done visit. Beyond disgusted and there’s nothing like the feeling of opening up your to go meal and realizing you have been royally ripped off. Never again.

Savanna was our waitress and she did an amazing job. She was so pleasant to work with and checked back on us too. We had six adults and four kids and everything came out perfect. My daughter has Celiac disease & with the help of the General Manager Kara? they took extra care to see that her food was made safely . The food was delicious and so many choices . We were pleased and had a great time with our family in town for a tournament. Highly recommended!!

My best friend and I finished horseback riding and decided Rockwood would be perfect for lunch. We got the wedge salads with filet and the blue cheese dressing is the best I’ve had! It was too good. Their wings are huge and very good.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The 10-piece boneless chicken wings were very disappointing—dry, lacking quality, and the Nashville Hot wings had the same issue, with not enough sauce. The Cabo Wabo Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Don’t Hold the Bacon Sandwich were just okay, nothing special.
Also, their draft beer machine was broken, which was disappointing.
Overall, while the service was outstanding, the food was underwhelming. Try at your own risk.

The food was pretty good. It was not fantastic, but for a typical menu, it was pretty good! There was a nice selection of items on the menu, including appetizers (many fried optional), main entrees, grilled meats, handhelds (different types of sandwich like entrees) seafood, and fresh options like salads and lettuce wraps. My family of four enjoyed fish and chips, a playe of tri colored nachos, parmesan crusted salmon, and a fried chicken sandwich with French fries. The fries were definitely a hit. They were cut in an interesting pattern, as pictured. Twisty turvy fries with a perfect crisp. The oil seemed fresh, and if I’m not mistaken, they must use separate fryers for seafood – which I appreciate because it always changes the flavor of all of the other fried foods at places that don’t. The nachos weren’t too impressive, and the chips were very fresh tastin. However, the toppings even without any meat and only beans were plentiful. The plates all have interesting takes on classic items. A nice location with outdoor and indoor seating. There was a private party the night we dined, so one patio was closed and the other was not open. It sits near train tracks, so that would be annoying for diners who don’t appreciate the noise. It’s also in walking distance of many shops for an after dinner (or any meal) stroll. Everyone left fool and stayed that way for the night!

First time. Drove up from Stafford. Food and service were great. Had the veggie omelette and salmon Benedict. The home fries were on point. Will come back on a Sunday for the all you can eat brunch buffet. Deana our waitress was friendly and attentive, she didn’t miss a beat. Place was packed on Saturday. They also provided a Military discount of 10% – thank you.

The new menu is great. Lots of wonderful options. I had the crispy barbecue ribs and they were delicious. My husband had the Prime Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious. Loved the new desserts. We had the S’more waffle sundae and it was delicious!

Had an incredible dining experience at Rockwood! The service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. As for the food—absolutely amazing! Each dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. From appetizers to dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and an outstanding dining experience! We’ll definitely be coming back.
