This food was so delicious and authentic! It tasted homemade. The tostones were crispy and rich. The flavor of the rice was simple but perfect. I had the mofongo with ground beed and melted queso on top. It was so savory and rich with amazing flavors! The staff was extremely friendly.

Fist time here and it was so good. The mofongo de plátanos maduro was the perfect sweetness with the ground beef. The carne frita was delicious. Also got a quesito and a pastelillo de guayaba straight out of the oven.

I was looking for good Puertorican food and this place caught my attention. I had the kankan pork chop with mofongo and my gf had the fried pork with mofongo. Both were really good. Adobo Puerto Rican Café is like stepping right back into Puerto Rico, which I proudly consider my second home away from home. Every time I come here, I’m reminded of the beauty and flavor of the island, and it’s easily my go-to spot in Texas when I’m craving the excellence of Caribbean food. The churrasco is always cooked perfectly, not overdone, but tender and juicy, and it pairs flawlessly with the rice and beans. Top that off with an ice-cold Fanta, and you’ve got yourself the full Puerto Rican experience… well, almost. The only thing missing is the beach!
