We are a Thai New Generation restaurant focusing on bringing you adventurous, bold flavors of traditional and non-traditional dishes using the freshest ingredients. We are consistently voted the Best Thai Restaurant in San Francisco by Michelin Bib Gourmand 2016 – 2019
History
Established in 2015.
Represent a fun, dynamic Thai food from regional cooking dishes to our grandma’s recipes. Currently, we are offering many Northern Thai dishes from Chiangmai, Chiang Rai, and Loei. Chef/owner, POP, is originally from Loei but spent most of his adulthood in Bangkok. Pop attributes his passion for food to his daily trips to the local market with his grandma, reminiscent of his childhood where he cooked a large meal for his entire family.

The Thai food was excellent overall. The pumpkin fries were particularly good, though they tasted better with a spicy sauce rather than the sweet sauce served with them. The drinks were pretty good. I ordered the crab fried rice, which had a good portion size and a tasty flavor, but it was a bit oily.Pat siu noodles was good.. overall ambience was good and food as well. Onky downside is it’s very expensive

Vibrant restaurant with flowery decor (artificial, but set the mood for me). We got the patio seating.
As for the food, the menu is quite expansive. Personally, with that large menu, I prefer a book instead of multiple large placards (Drinks Menu, Food menu, Chef’s Special, Vegetarian). We are vegetarians and had following:
– Drink – All Day I Dream – Nice – Recommend for alcohol free option
– Vegan Fresh Rolls – Refreshing – Highly recommend
– Vegetarian Pad See You – Nice and flavorful
– Vege Basil Bomb – not to my taste (especially at that price). There was a soup / broth that came with it that was quite good though.

Went with 4 adults and 2 kids (8 & 11). Really appreciate they were able to seat us even though there was an error with our reservation. We sat outside and the heaters were on so it was totally comfortable except know that since it’s right outside the train station you’ll hear a loud train every once in awhile. Some great dishes (shrimp appetizer, samosa, branzino, eggplant, short ribs all were delicious) but some were just so so (pad Thai did not stand out, crab rice while looked so pretty felt a little bland, the steak appetizer was also underwhelming, and the mushroom special was not great.) during October they had a fun IPA bucket special that came with 3 beers in a bucket with pumpkin fries (the pumpkin fries were amazing.) great place to go for a nice night out with family or a larger group but probably more authentic Thai food available in a less fancy setting if that’s what you’re looking for.

Went here for a dinner date, the appetizers were average. We ordered the crispy shrimp which came on a leaf which was literally un-edible, left it entirely.
Staff was so ignorant that didn’t even bother to serve us water for good 15-20 minutes, only when we asked.
The roti mataba was potato only, not a single piece of chicken but was priced higher than it should.
Wouldn’t recommend it, staff were rude too and didn’t pay attention. Honestly do not understand the high rating!

Location wise its ok not as cool as Oakland location. If you want to try their food try in Oakland location for the better ambience. That being said this is not that bad either. Food is same ar both location, liked everything we ordered. Service was pretty quick. If u are celebrating birthday do let them know coz they really celebrate in a nice way.

It is a place for casual dine in, but with very expensive pricing. We started with the thai Iced tea, with the roti mataba. The iced tea was average but with a different presentation. It was bad the second time, however the staff was kind enough to not charge us for it. The roti mataba had more potatoes than chicken in it, but the gravy was nice. The pad see you was very dry, and not as flavorful as expected. The chefs special Khao soi was the only dish which tasted good, but it was very very pricy for the food, and the place. The staff was nice tho, they acknowledged our request for photo, and was very patient with it, so shoutout to that. Although overall not a good experience.

The pork belly is so soft and not dry at all. I prefer a crispy skin on my pork belly. For the amount you’re being charged you don’t get that much pork. The green curry was delicious but super spicy warning for those who don’t like spice. Perfect flavoring for me. Sadly there wasn’t much variety of veggies in the curry and only 3 pieces of fried tofu. Rice portion are good.

Reserved this place for dinner. It’s located next to the cal train, the train can be loud when it arrives but I find it entertaining and like it. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, the staff are nice and attentively. We ordered the appetizer to share, crab fried rice, green curry, pad Thai. The appetizers were delicious, the calamari was crunchy. The green curry had a good kick to it but was too spicy for some people. The pad Thai with Wagyu was good, the crab fried rice was so beautiful and was so good with the sauces. The restaurant interior is so pretty and the restaurant was packed and vibrant. I would come here for dinner again!!

We recently met friends and family at Farmhouse, many of whom had been there several times and spoke highly of it—so we were excited to finally try it for ourselves. The food was fantastic—some of the most beautifully presented and flavorful Thai dishes I’ve ever had. Given the price point, I was hoping for something special, and it definitely delivered.
The ambiance was just as impressive, both inside and out. Many restaurants overlook their outdoor spaces, but Farmhouse has clearly put care into making the porch area inviting and well-designed.
The only downside was the service. We were a party of six, which may have played a role, but while some staff members were attentive, a couple came off as less friendly than I would expected. Still, the outstanding food more than made up for it, and I’ll definitely be returning for another meal.
