Tin Tin Buffet in Medford is a decent option, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly buffet. The seafood selection is a bit limited, and during our visit some food pans were empty. We also noticed that a few plates weren’t as clean as expected, which could definitely be improved.

That said, the food itself tasted good and was flavorful, and the price is much cheaper compared to other buffet restaurants in the area. Overall, it’s a good value for the money, just with some room for improvement.

You might like it here, But Dark inside, walls dirty , food wasn’t good not much variety. Wasn’t worth the money/eating at this buffet. Orange chicken tasted expired sour ketchup taste. Shrimp was ok flavor and pot stickers. But all other food even noodles and rice tasted awful not fresh like was there for a while and cooked on terrible pans possibly. Sushi didn’t taste fresh , coleslaw was good. Disappointed me Fruits like cantaloupe were good. Ice cream was like ice taste not dairy milk, but I liked it and jello red &⬜mango . Chocolate Cake didn’t taste fresh, liked cookies . Chocolate pudding was better than vanilla.

They got food! A lot of food, I must say that the quality was pretty underwhelming and the food wasn’t warm unfortunately. I would also suggest investing in the lighting and design of the place – it wasn’t very inviting. However the staff was amazing! I also took a koi fish home

Congratulations to the chef; the food was a trip to China. The chicken, shrimp, and other meats were delicious. The dessert: fruit melody! Incredible! Only $ 18

There were at least 10 people waiting for the doors to open. This made me think the food would be good. I was not disappointed. The quality is typical of a mass produced buffet, but the flavor was excellent. I tried at least a bite from everything offered. The only disappointment was the fried rice. It was a little too dry. If you are in the mood for Chinese food, give this place a try.

This place was alright. I’m not sure if their steamers just weren’t hot enough ir what, but none of the food we got was warm, and that was really disappointing. The koi pond was beautiful and there was good seating. However, the cold food just ruined it for us. We also entered a drawing to win this air purifier or gift card, and had a sales person trying to sell us a super expensive rainbow show up. This was not disclosed at all so that was a bit frustrating.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, it used to be amazing and always busy. I don’t know what happened, new owners? New management? Whatever’s going on is going to get them shut down. We ate here a year ago and got violently sick within a day, thought maybe it was a fluke but steered clear until this week when we decided to give it another try. Nobody was in there and I see why now. All the fish we tried tasted rancid, the sushi was sour and even the rice was old and dry. Their coconut shrimp was hard as a rock from sitting under the lamps for however long and I nearly broke a tooth trying to eat a potato wedge that turned into a hockey puck. Once again within a day we are SICK. Vomiting and diarrhea SICK along with my 1 year old son who only ate the chow mein and some rock hard potatoes. I’m hoping a good scare from the health department will get their attention to stop serving rotten food to customers but maybe being shut down is what’s needed in the long run. It’s a tragedy because they used to be a really great restaurant.

Update a year later: now they have a 12% charge fee! Probably not returning any time soon.

Rating going from 4 stars to 3 now.

Old Review: As far as I know only Asian food buffet left in the Medford are after other closed down. As a former resident can’t remember how long this has been in business and never really went in until recently when visiting family and was pleasantly surprised! Been there twice in one month and food has been pretty good, service too. Also reasonably priced. Definitely returning next time I’m in town.

It’s not a bad buffet. The price is really expensive. For 2 adults a 6 year old and a 4 year old it was over $60. I mean it’s a buffet but for $60 you could probably get a better dining experience at a steak house.

The last time I went to Tin Tin it was before Covid. I’ve been really hesitant to come back because of the bad reviews. So after having a really nice experience I decided to post my own with pics

We went on Wednesday at around 4 PM and it was great. If you’re looking for affordable Americanized pan-Asian food, that is what you’ll find here. Staff was consistently bringing out refills for food and the buffet was at food-safe temperatures as far as I could tell. Service was good and staff were keeping the buffet very clean.

Buffets are a dying breed and I’m grateful this one still exists 🙂 it’s fun to go eat a lot of variety of food. Yes, it’s buffet quality food, for buffet prices. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, you will find it here!
