This was my first time at Bahama Bob’s. I thought it was a seafood restaurant, but they had a large variety of food options to select from on their menu. The atmosphere was more like a bar since they had pool tables, a bar area, and they allowed customers to sit anywhere of their choice. It was also hard for me to select something to eat because of the many items on their menu. Nonetheless I settled on their seafood gumbo. It was actually quite tasty and the portion size was also large. I also order their French fries and calamari as an appetizer. Overall my experience was good.

I stopped by Bahama Bob’s in Pooler after work to grab a drink and unwind, and it was exactly the vibe I needed. Super laid back, easygoing atmosphere with that beachy feel that helps you shake off the day and makes you stay a little longer. Happy hour energy is just right not too loud, not too slow just good people and good drinks even if you need a chill hour to yourself.
And if you’re looking for something fun on the weekend, they’ve got DJ karaoke on Saturday nights at 8pm! Definitely a go to spot whether you’re decompressing after work or ready to sing your heart out.

I was surprised when I received this seafood platter. The meal was seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere and quailty service was superb.The service was excellent and I will be coming back again.

Omg worse birthday dinner ever. I felt like me and my party was unwanted there. Server was nice just a lil inexperienced serving large parties I assume. Food came out so unappealing . Burnt crab balls and fries looked as if they were re dropped or sat under the light all day to send out to a paying customer was insane. Then to top it all off the gratuity they take out was robbery. Long story short ️ but go at your own risk never ever again for me, family or friends. Disappointed ask for a manager looked at me as if I was trash on the ground because I wanted to speak about my birthday plate. Manager still never came to the table even after us being there at least a hour after asking to speak with them. One manager that we did stop look at us with disgust on her face asking what did we want which was totally unacceptable especially to say to a paying guest.

We are from North Georgia, and this is our first visit to the Savannah area. We came for a visit to see the area and try out the seafood restaurants. This is our first restaurant. We were there on a Saturday, late morning , as they just opened. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who got our menu a few minutes after we sat down at a booth. She patiently answered all of our questions about the different items on the menu. My wife ordered the fish and chips, and I ordered the crab stew. Our orders came quickly. My wife thought the fish and chips were great. I thought my crabs stew was excellent. Our experience was that it was a quiet place. However, with pool tables and some members of a band coming in setting up, makes me believe later in the day/evening, It might be a little more noisy. They have a lot of good things on the menu and we definitely will have to return to try some of the other menu items.

I would not recommend. More than half the people with me food was/looked terrible. The fried items looked horrible as if they were cooked in old grease as they were so dark and uneatable. I asked for a new basket of fries and they still were burnt looking so I was only able to eat the burger I ordered. We asked for a supervisor and no one ever came to our table to address the issues we were having. We did stop one lady and she said she was a supervisor but she obviously didn’t want to address our issue because the look she gave us. She finished washing a table nearby and walked away. So the entire time we were there no supervisor came to address the problem which I don’t think is a good look for business. Especially since so many people had issues. I will not return to this location. The server kept asking did anyone come to talk to us but still nothing even after being there for awhile after asking to speak with someone.

My oysters were so tiny and there was too much cheese on them. The drink I had was pink lemonade and it was watered down even on the second try it was still a miss. Sorry, but the porkchop was rough but seasoned ok and too much cheese on the potatoes. Seems like a nice little place to play pool we did notice 4 tables there and old-fashioned darts.

checked out Bahama Bob’s (twice now), and while the portions were solid and the prices were fair, the experience wasn’t all that great. headache of parking on a Saturday night with a 45 minute wait for service/food (low country boil) that was bland. Pro: pool tables and good drinks. 3 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend.
