I recently tried the Bandeja Paisa at Punto Rojo and overall the food was delicious. If you order it, I definitely recommend getting it with the skirt steak. the steak was flavorful and cooked well. The carne molida, though, wasn’t really for me. It had a very fine, almost powdery texture. I know some Colombians enjoy it prepared that way, but as a Caleña I’m not used to that style.

The guanábana drink was really good and refreshing, and I also had buñuelos which were tasty and fresh. The staff all the ladies working were very sweet and welcoming. They made the experience better.

The only downside for me was the atmosphere. There was a group of young men hanging out inside that made me feel a little uncomfortable. It might not bother everyone, but it affected my experience.

I would recommend eating here because the food is good, just maybe don’t go alone and try to visit while it’s still daylight.

Honestly, it was such a disappointment. The tres leches was dry and the hot food was barely room temp.
Business itself seemed a bit dirty
Nice staff though

Always a win. Best Columbian food in the area and fairly priced. I highly recommend the chicharron as well as the morcilla (black sausage). The maduros (sweet fried plantains) are always on point and the beef empanadas are always delicious. If you’re looking for a full or half a rotisserie chicken – make sure to grab it early as they do sell out often. The rice and beans are tasty and pair well with the chicken. The bakery area is vast with a lot to choose from – the dulce de leche and tres leches are both really good… I suggest tasting a different one each time! Highly recommended.

Our office used to order from Punto Rojo years ago, but since I stopped working there, no yummy food for me. I was in the area today, so I decided to try it again. So good! I got the Mini Bandeja, and it was just the right amount of food for me. The empanadas looked so good that I got 2 of them. If you are in the area, please check them out. It’s worth the visit. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. They have seating, but I got my order to go.

Service is just terrible. I ordered fried fish, even stated it in Spanish. When I got there, they tried to give me fries. Worst things, the girls kept giggling like it’s funny. No sense of customer service. Just lost a customer permanently.

I recently bought 10 empanadas & they only gave me 2 sauce cups! I went back the next day to buy 5 more empanadas & they only gave me 1 sauce cup! I asked nicely for more & told them that they only gave me 2 when I bought ten empanadas, the server lady was about to give me extra cups but the cashier (young lady with dark hair & glasses) stopped her & told me that she remembered she gave me the correct number of sauce cups & basically called me a liar! Who the hell does she think she is? It’s outrageous how stingy they are with their half filled tiny sauce cups!! Worst service, they need to fire the cashier lady with the glasses, she is obnoxious & rude.

Edit: I recently went back & The new cashier guy is great ! He is very courteous & respectful.

Came here last week for my aunt birthday cake. I wish we stayed longer because all the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. The cake we had later that night tres leche, was so sweet and juicy.

By far the best of the locations they have . The one in Freeport didn’t measure up for me . Here , they always remain consistent in the quality of food . I ordered the mini bandeja paisa . Delicious, juicy steak, and even better chicharrón. Only reason why I can’t give the full 5 stars is the speed of service . Not enough staff , but the staff are super kind and helpful. One of my favorite restaurants on the island by far. And the tres leches cake is always on point! If you’re in the area , it’s definitely worth it .
