I might give it another try someday. We went as soon as they opened so that could be why.
The place is nice, fancy. It have like bar and restaurant área.
We ordered salmon with like a glaze, fish with butter, crab cake a beer and one margarita Spicy, very very Spicy almost.imposible to drink.
The people.very.nice but a little slow.
I am writing to share my concern regarding my recent dining experience. My wife and I visited your establishment on 11/29/25 at about 9pm. Upon our arrival, to our surprise we were the only patrons in the restaurant. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, Crabs Cakes, Chicken Marsala & the Mahi Mahi & Grilled Shrimp. While the atmosphere and service were pleasant, I was disappointed to find that the portion size for the Mahi Mahi was extremely small compared to the price being charged. Unfortunately, the value did not feel appropriate for the cost. Everything else was great except for that. However, I did express this matter to my waiter Samuel, and he did relay my message to John, the manager on duty at the time. A short time later, I was greeted by the manager John. As he approached the table, he asked, “what problem were we having?” I expressed my concern about the Mahi Mahi, being it was the size of a cracker. Considering I never touched anything on the plate, he asked, “did you eat some of it?” I replied, “I have not touched anything on the plate”, and John went on to say, “the portion size is 4 ounces”. Clearly it wasn’t close to 4 ounces, and needless to say, John didn’t believe it was either according to his reply. Unfortunately, how outdone I was when I received my meal, it literally slipped my mind to take a picture. However, that’s neither here nor there. I just wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that you will review your portion standards or pricing so future guests can enjoy a more balanced experience.
Thank you for your time.
The service was polite and attentive, and while nothing was wrong on that front, the food itself did not meet expectations for the price point. The flavors across the plate felt muted, and the dish as a whole lacked the balance and seasoning I was anticipating.
The Mahi Mahi was prepared well in terms of texture, but the lemon caper butter did not add much depth. The sides were fine, though they did not stand out, and the lobster tail felt more like an add on than a thoughtfully integrated part of the meal. Overall, the experience suggested either large batch preparation or a lack of attention to seasoning and execution.
Bonefish Grill has long been positioned as casual upscale, but this visit did not reflect that standard. The presentation suggested a higher end experience than what the food delivered. For the price, the value just was not there for me.
While the experience was not terrible, it was not memorable enough for me to return. There are other restaurants in the area offering stronger flavor and a more consistent dining experience at a similar price point.
