Flavorful, delicious, and really good buiscuits. I loved the sausage gravy, boozy coffee and vibe of this place. My husband got the cinnamon roll which he liked. They only make a certain batch in the am so once they’re out off then there is no more. I liked all of the different things to get and unique ingredients on alot of the dishes. I absolutely loved the fruit cup. With blueberries and pineapple. Very fresh. We had our baby with us and they accommodated us well. I will say they are constantly busy from what we could gather while we were there and we were waiting for about 15 minutes to get a table. Lots of parking and wheel chair accessible . I also had their grits which were delicious!! Very friendly. Thank you for the great service

My husband and I stopped in because it was the closest bunch spot to our hotel, and it turned out to be a wonderfully unexpected find. Grace was warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely as our server. But the real surprise was the food. The menu is far more dynamic than you’d expect at first glance in a place that looks and feels like a Cracker Barrel, and every dish delivered. The corned beef hash was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced by the bright pickled cabbage and white bean salad, which cut through the richness of what the dish is known for with real finesse. And that hollandaise? Bottle it. Even the bacon felt like tasting bacon for the first time. My best friend is a judge for the James Beard Foundation, and I called her immediately to say, “I’m serious, you need to come here.” I would make a four hour drive just to eat here again.

Super cute place to visit! Food was great and there were lots of options from sweet to savory. They offered some great seasonal drinks and food items as well. They also had some interesting boozy coffees and other alcoholic brunch drinks. Prices are great. The decoration was so southern and homey.

Another great find in Wilmington! Went here for brunch and it didn’t disappoint. The wait is long so I suggest you call ahead to get in line. Drinks were very delicious while we waited and once seated the food was worth it! Fun interior and great service. This place is a must if you want some authentic southern breakfast or other lunch items!!

My husband picked this restaurant when we were on vacation. I told him that I wanted pancakes or waffles so he picked here for breakfast. The atmosphere was appropriate for the name of the restaurant but to me it felt outdated and kind of tacky. The food was ok. My husband got the “dirty south biscuit” and he said it was good. I ordered 1 pancake with a side of 1 egg scrambled and a side of bacon. The bacon was fantastic as I like my bacon super crispy and this was that! My egg came out cold and was nothing special. The pancake that I had been craving was just not good. It tasted like buckwheat or whole wheat or something. I asked the waitress what kind of pancake it was and she said sourdough buttermilk. I’ve never heard of sourdough pancakes before and I hope I never have one again. It came with cinnamon butter and syrup. The coffee was very good with multiple flavor options. I got the salted caramel and the flavor was really good but it wasn’t super hot so by the time I added cream it was almost cold. I just don’t think that I would ever come back to this restaurant.

We visited Cast Iron Kitchen for brunch and had an amazing experience. I ordered the chicken & pancakes with a side of grits, and my husband had the Not Your Mama’s Meatloaf with grits as well. Everything was absolutely delicious! The grits were the best I’ve ever tasted — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great too. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Cast Iron Kitchen to anyone looking for a fantastic brunch spot in Wilmington!

Food has potential but definitely not what I was expecting. The food was Very bland look delicious but it wasn’t at all . We ordered the short rib and the regular hash skillet. The Chimichurri was flavorful on the short rib, but everything else had no flavor sadly! .. the drinks were meh as well !!! we ordered the strawberry field and the port side, Paloma. Won’t be back headed back to Florida 😉 nevertheless our server Nikki was great ! And the cinnamon roll was great 10/10
