Overall, a good-tasting restaurant. We visited close to the end of lunch service, and the place was still packed with large tables. The menu feels very much like classic banquet-style food, which I think works best for bigger groups—so you can order more of the seafood dishes and roast pig to share.

The 麦片虾 was disappointing for the price; the breading felt heavy and slightly greasy. On the other hand, the 卤大肠 was a very pleasant surprise—the seasoning was spot on and easily one of the best I’ve had. The Peking duck was good but not particularly memorable.

As they were closing soon, the food overall felt a little rushed. I did enjoy the soup: it looked different from the picture (which showed a clearer broth), but the flavour was rich and savoury

Great old school Chinese banquet-type restaurant – the food is amazing and this is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Penang Standout that we had – Iberico Char Siew and Iberico Pork Ribs – probably the best char siew I’ve had in Penang the Ice Plant Salad was really great too even though the restaurant was packed, we still received incredibly attentive service

I had a wonderful dining experience at Maple Palace Chinese Restaurant. The food was excellent, flavourful, and prepared with quality ingredients. Their signature dishes stood out in both taste and presentation.

The ambience is elegant yet welcoming, suitable for family dinners, celebrations, or business meals. Service was attentive, professional, and the staff were helpful with recommendations.

Overall, Maple Palace offers a refined and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Good service, they came out to greet us upon opening as we came earlier b4 they business opening hour. All were good but the some part of the pork rib were not tender enough and abit chewy. Good and attentive service.
On the down side, the parking charges were super expensive at rm3.50 for 1st hour and rm2 for every subsequent hours.

Crispy prawn pancake and pork ribs with citrus orange glaze was really good. Tiger grouper with vermicelli and cuttlefish balls and steamed chicken with ginger & shallot scallion was normal.

Me and my family spend our dining time here for a few times already. The elderly loves it, their service is superb, food taste very good and also the environment is high class.

Today we celebrate My mother in law’s birthday and they give us a complimentary peach bun with a beautiful art on the plate!

Truly appreciate their good service and also it’s such A big surprise to us!

Two uninitiated Brits eating at a high class Chinese restaurant had:
– signature dish, 1/2 Pecking duck two ways;
– radish cake; and
– chilli prawn,
accompanied by the most excellent Portuguese wine from the Symington’s.
Every dish was stunning, leaving no room for desert, unfortunately.

Ordered their 168+ set for the first time. Char siew was really good. The fish maw shark fin pumpkin soup also up to the standard. Steam fish a bit overcooked. Tong bo pork rice also very good. Overall I feel it’s worth this price. Very very full
