We went there to celebrate my birthday. The hostess got us seated at the bar immediately. We had the grilled artichokes for an appetizer. They were delicious and so tender that you could eat every bite. My wife ordered the braised short rib pappardelle, and I ordered the spaghetti chitarra crab sugo with real crab meat. We ordered the half-sized portions along with some focaccia. Both were delicious, and my wife even had some left over to box and take home. My wife ordered the caramel sea salt gelato, and the staff brought be a birthday card and a complimentary vanilla gelato. Both were creamy and delicious. The pasta is made in-house, and it was an experience to watch their talented chef making ravioli right before our eyes. The hostesses and the two women behind the bar were very friendly.
This will definitely warrant a return visit

Great atmosphere in the middle of the square! Food was meticulously prepared and the owner walked us through each dish as to how it was prepared. You could even see it done through the glass by the entry.
Very flavorful and every bit as to how it was described!
Perfect for special occasions and fancy dates alike!

Always a great meal here! The bread is AMAZING, vodka pasta is my go too.
Wait staff did an amazing job tonight, Rebecca and trainee Ariel were fabulous. Thanks for the chocolate creme brûlée recommendation, my new fav dessert.

Great food and excellent customer service overall. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared exactly what you’d hope for from a great Italian restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The only downside was that the bartender on the main floor seemed to rush us a bit at the beginning of our visit. Aside from that, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely return.

We were in Cincinnati for one day and craving Italian for dinner. Thank goodness we found it here! Such friendly staff and the chef chatted with us and seemed genuinely interested in our conversation. All of our food was cooked perfectly and delicious. The ambience inside and outside was wonderful too. Highly recommend!

It was a nice experience. Samantha was one of the best servers we’ve had. She was attentive, gave suggestions, and never rushed us. The food was good Italian food, but items you could find anywhere.
Our only complaint, the lights were incredibly bright, and there was no music, especially for Valentine’s weekend.

We had a fantastic dinner at Via Vite! We were quickly seated and our sever, Samantha, was exceptional. She explained menu items, offered suggestions, and was attentive but not intrusive. Our salad, pasta, entrees, and side dish were all excellent and authentic italian. Great spot for dinner before an Aronoff show. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server, Priscilla, was top-notch—so warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They were also able to accommodate my gluten allergy with delicious gluten-free pasta, which I truly appreciated. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

I had had gnocchi a couple times before visiting Via Vite. I wasn’t impressed and figured that I’m just not a gnocchi person. Via Vite’s garlic butter gnocchi dish changed that with one bite. Ohmygosh! The flavor of the surprisingly light butter sauce and almost silky, smooth gnocchi are worth going back for. The atmosphere was upbeat, yet formal with service that met all my expectations. As a non-drinker in an Italian restaurant, I was pleased to find a variety of truly flavorful cocktails that rounded out the whole experience!

My date and I arrived early for our reservation and although it was a fully packed house with little waiting room the ambiance was beautiful. We loved watching the back of house prepare the featured pasta – a decadent beet tortellini. Upon being seated David greeted us with unreasonable hospitality. He made the evening an incredible experience for the two of us. His description of recommendations were mouth watering. We took his suggestions for the arancini, gnocchi and featured tortellini, all of which hit the mark entirely. I often find myself trying to think of ways to improve dishes when they don’t meet the highest standard when I go out, which I often do, and I couldn’t have said enough good things about each dish that hit the table. The beet salad is a must have – although we asked for arugula in place of the kale, and it was amazing. My date’s first time having beets and he said 10/10 he’s enjoy it all over. The featured dish, though, was so good I felt the need to compliment Chef Joey on his creation, personally. Firstly I don’t think chefs get enough credit for what they do every day, but most especially for the work put into creating a recipe like that and producing it at high volume. It had a Gorgonzola sauce – which I feel the need to mention I don’t even generally like blue cheese – but it was so perfectly balanced and the flavor profile of the dish was so complex and utterly satisfying that I can confidently say I’d come back just for that alone. I also want to note that David did such a prodigious job describing just how balanced the dish was that I wanted to try it despite hearing Gorgonzola – again, my mouth was watering from the way he shared about it. For the final course, it was all wonderful but the cherry on top was David bringing us a plate of their house-made ricotta donuts with caramel, raspberry jam and vanilla cream.. by far my favorite dessert we shared! Thank you to all the staff who made our night so wonderful and easy to enjoy. Ps, we loved the intermittent r&b and other soulful music played throughout the evening as well
