I gotta say this place delivers when you want barbecue chicken I got barbecue chicken with rice and boiled potatoes and the flan. All of it was delicious. Prices are pretty reasonable half chickens 13 bucks with plenty of plenty of food. It’s enough for two people. You could smell this place from around the corner.Parking is pretty easy too. You might have to go around the block, but there’s plenty of parking on all the side streets.

Great place to eat. Clean, friendly waitress, and good food. Parking lot is a bit small but it wasn’t too hard to park on the street on a Monday evening. I would go back as the food portions were sizable and tasty.

I ordered half a chicken and when I got home. I want to serve it. The chicken was so skinny and small. I kept looking at it and questioning it. I even asked my husband if this was chicken. I was very disappointed for $13. The only thing they give you is more rice than anything. I’m looking to buy chicken from another spot very disappointed and it’s funny because there wasn’t like that. They were good at 1 time.

The food is as good as expected however it was dry because they forgot to include my sauce in my bag that was really upsetting next time. I’ll make sure I remind them otherwise the meat is tender and delicious with a try. It’s a bit pricey too, so I probably will go to my old spot in Elizabeth.

The food from their menu is good and tasty, the portions are good and the staff is always welcoming and friendly, BUT!!! Their Thanksgiving catering was HORRENDOUS, it pretty much ruined our holiday, the turkey was dry, small and not tasty at all, they said it was for 8 people but maybe serving kids portions, the wings and legs resemble beef jerky and impossible to eat. The pork roll was also bad, good portion but dry and hard as a rock, we won’t be ordering from them again, it was disrespectful to charge so much for such a bad food.

I’m conflicted. It took me to have a few bad experiences with Costas to write a review. Read the last three paragraphs to cut to the chase.
We do mostly a ribs order for take out and that is really good. Hands down, pretty good BBQ.
Both my bad experiences were from the sitting restaurant area. The staff is great. The ambiance is ok, nothing bad. I generally order a mixed grilled meat and most of the time it’s nice cuts of short ribs and pork ribs along with other stuff. I didn’t send my food back in my first bad experience, because to me, it was the first bad time and the food was going to be good the next time. I like the place. So I let it go. Recently, I had another boney, all fat and dried out short ribs and pork ribs. I request it to be replaced. They replaced it with succulent cuts with a smile. I was happy.
THEN I GOT THE BILL!! They changed the price specifically for me. They increased it by $10 dollars saying the price was effective that day. I looked at the menu and saw a hastily written number on top of $26 to look like $36. I’ve ordered this specific meal over the last year. I know the price. I looked at the other menus and guess what. They were all still listed as $26.
The “boss” would not meet with me, I bet he pressured his poor staff members to sell this lie. The 2nd bill was given to me with the corrected amount without a face-to-face.
You tell me, do I go back because food is tasty or do I not go back because they tried to hustle me?

Always an excellent choice. Food is good all the time and the variety and selection they offer are perfect. Not to expensive either. It has about 6 tables to eat in and they offer take out or delivery with Grubhub.

Full order of the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 pork ribs was huge. Very flavorful and tasty and a great value. Lots of choices for dessert in the refrigerated case up front. I felt that they provide a very good value for a hearty meal.
