Service was good and the place itself is comfortable and suitable for dining in.
Overall, it’s not bad and a reasonable option if you’re in the mood for Indian cuisine.
Very bad experience. Food was definitely stale leftovers from the weekend. One of the items smelled rotten. The chicken tandoori was slimy and smelled off. The rice had water in it from being reheated and 100% tasteless and soggy. No paneer in palak paneer. The taste was overall not good and not fresh. Couldn’t eat more than a plate. I’m brown myself, this is not it, sorry.
I’m not a picky eater, and I’m forced to write this review because of how disappointing it was.
Honestly, even a basic roadside dhaba in India would serve food with far more flavor and care than what we were presented here. We left most of the dishes untouched—it was that disappointing.
I usually rely on online reviews, but in this case, they were seriously misleading. If you’re looking for genuine Indian food, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options.
It’s hard to eat out Indian food solo most of the time because you only choose 1 maybe, 2 dishes.
This place has the Bombay Special Dinner which allows you to try a smaller portion of all their best hits. It’s a lot of food and good value for $36!
If you order it spicy, be ready for real spice. It’s fantastic.
Garlic Naan here is 10/10.
Highly recommend coming here for a solid Indian meal.
Absolutely terrible service at Bombay Restaurant. We were a group of 10 and ordered multiple food items, but after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, not even a single proper starter was served. All they did during that time was refill our water again and again—no food, no updates, no apologies.
When we finally got one starter, it was awful—cold, tasteless, and clearly not fresh. At that point, we were completely frustrated and still sitting with empty stomachs. When we informed the manager we were leaving due to the pathetic service, the response was shockingly rude: “Okay, leave. It won’t affect our business.”
This place clearly doesn’t care about customers or basic hospitality. Save yourself the time, money, and hunger—do NOT go to Bombay Restaurant. You’ll regret it.
