I tried the food here and the buffet offers a good variety, and the food was decent some dishes were better than others such as Paneer, but nothing stood out as exceptional.

Service was good and the place itself is comfortable and suitable for dining in.

Overall, it’s not bad and a reasonable option if you’re in the mood for Indian cuisine.

The lunch buffet was $20/person, and it was not worth it! Food was bland, it lacked the spices that Indian Cuisine is known for. Even the Gulab Jamun was not delicious. Their food had very little meat, it had more sauce than chicken or lamb. They did not refill food promptly. Plus, Coke was $6! Overall, it was very disappointing experience especially when we drove 9 miles just because we were craving for authentic Indian food.

Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. This was my first time eating Indian cuisine and the staff was very patient and helpful. Presentation was clean and made to my request.

Lunch buffet review – went on a Monday.

Very bad experience. Food was definitely stale leftovers from the weekend. One of the items smelled rotten. The chicken tandoori was slimy and smelled off. The rice had water in it from being reheated and 100% tasteless and soggy. No paneer in palak paneer. The taste was overall not good and not fresh. Couldn’t eat more than a plate. I’m brown myself, this is not it, sorry.

I’m not a picky eater, and I’m forced to write this review because of how disappointing it was.

My entire dining process was amazing. The minute I walked in I was sat immediately. The staff was amazing not once did I have to ask for a refill of my water. The menu had many options and the food portions were amazing. I ended up ordering yellow rice, garlic naan and shrimp masala. The music in the restaurant was a bit loud but you could have a conversation and hear yourself think. I would highly recommend this place

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Indian dining experiences I’ve had in the U.S. The food lacked any authentic flavor, and each dish felt like a random mix of ingredients rather than a thoughtfully prepared meal. It seemed as if the chef simply threw together whatever was available, with no regard for balance or traditional taste.

Honestly, even a basic roadside dhaba in India would serve food with far more flavor and care than what we were presented here. We left most of the dishes untouched—it was that disappointing.

I usually rely on online reviews, but in this case, they were seriously misleading. If you’re looking for genuine Indian food, I’d strongly recommend exploring other options.

Big fan of this place!

It’s hard to eat out Indian food solo most of the time because you only choose 1 maybe, 2 dishes.

This place has the Bombay Special Dinner which allows you to try a smaller portion of all their best hits. It’s a lot of food and good value for $36!

If you order it spicy, be ready for real spice. It’s fantastic.

Garlic Naan here is 10/10.

Highly recommend coming here for a solid Indian meal.

We visited on Jan 27, 2026. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. The owner asked us if we’d like dessert. He suggested we try their icecream. He told us how it was made. We gave it a try and it was very flavorful. We will return to try different dishes and of course another flavor of their icecream.

The food was tasty. Enjoyed the biryani and vegetable samosas – good, but not great in my opinion. No issues with the service or the standard upscale Indian restaurant atmosphere. The prices were higher than the food quality, and that was a little disappointing. Within walking distance of the many convention hotels near the airport, not a bad choice for walking to in the area.

Worst Experience Ever – Stay Away from Bombay Restaurant

Absolutely terrible service at Bombay Restaurant. We were a group of 10 and ordered multiple food items, but after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, not even a single proper starter was served. All they did during that time was refill our water again and again—no food, no updates, no apologies.

When we finally got one starter, it was awful—cold, tasteless, and clearly not fresh. At that point, we were completely frustrated and still sitting with empty stomachs. When we informed the manager we were leaving due to the pathetic service, the response was shockingly rude: “Okay, leave. It won’t affect our business.”

This place clearly doesn’t care about customers or basic hospitality. Save yourself the time, money, and hunger—do NOT go to Bombay Restaurant. You’ll regret it.
