You come for the food, but you stay for the ’80s beats, classic cars, community connection, and undeniable reputation, both near and far. Very good food and place was very clean. Everyone working was friendly as well. We met a guy that’s a local there Charles that we talked with forever. He was great to talk with. We also spoke to the owner as well he was very friendly. We will definitely be back next time we come to the area. The banana pudding cheesecake was very good. We got a coffee bread , banana pudding,and a peach cobbler to go for later.

Oh boy!!!! That hot dog with onions chili and pastrami!!!!!! Fire!!!!! Those onions are incredible sabrett onions were never that good. I had the salmon burger with onions the onions took over the burger but it was still good next time no cooked onions. The chicken patty has good flavor just wanted more filling. The beef pattie was ok. The fries were decent I would get them more well done next time… but can we please gst back to this hot dog creation and that salmon burger!!!! I will be back before i head to the airport for those for sure and the chicken patty!

I’ve been following them on instagram for a while and been wanting to try them. Only problem is I live in Dallas now and whenever I’m back in LA, I’m usually busy with family stuff. I had a free day this morning and today was the day and I’m glad it was.
The food was on point. Ended up getting a hot dog, spicy hot link and chili cheese fries because why not, it’s big back Saturday.
The hot dog and the link were delicious and full of flavor, just enjoyable all around. The chili cheese fries were real good too. The chili itself was good as were the fries. They didn’t skimp on anything, portion sizes were on point. That playa punch they had was really good too.
All in all food wise they lived up to the hype and exceeded it. I’ll be back soon. They got a good selection of vegan stuff I want to try as well next time I’m back.
Going beyond that, the customer service was on point. The lady who rang me up was really helpful, and I’m a sucker for good service. I’ll go try a place once because the food is good or it intrigues me. But good service keeps me coming back and going out my way to come back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Earle’s on Crenshaw, and it was an experience to remember, especially meeting Mr. Earl himself at the Venice Beach location. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a laid-back beach vibe that made you feel right at home. Mr. Earl’s friendly and uplifting spirit was infectious; he greeted everyone with a warm smile and made sure we felt like part of the family.

I came specifically to try the coffee cake, as I’d heard it was similar to the ones from LA County High School. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to that expectation, it didn’t taste fresh and had more of a packaged flavor. That said, the food smelled amazing, and I’m definitely planning to come back to try some of the dishes from the menu.

It’s been on my list and I finally made it to Earl’s on Crenshaw for some beef chili cheese fries! The trip did not disappoint. Its a nice spot with bar stool seats at the window as well as outdoor seating. The staff was very welcoming and had great customer service skills. The chili cheese fries were hot and fresh. The chili was mild and flavorful with the right amount of cheese. These are thick cut fries cooked perfectly. I added jalapeños which were fresh not pickled. They also have other options to add. These make my top 5 chili cheese fries thus far. Alot of places miss the mark on the chili but Earls hit the right spot. Definitely recommend.

Earle’s, still my top destination for specialty hot dogs, salmon burgers, and vegan cuisine in a very congenial area.
Must return again as Earle’s never disappoint.

Thanks for treating our little family with such kindness on Friday lunchtime. Came with hubby and our two girls after visiting a new school and had amazing vegan options for us and even made our youngest a special vegan cheese sauce for her fries. Super kind service and delicious food all around. Glad we finally made it in person after ordering online before. No pics of the food sorry we ate it all down lol. Thank you!

This was our first visit while on vacation. The black history is evident when you walk in the door. Mama Earle is a feisty, knowledgeable lady who shared a breadth of experience and wisdom that we will never forget. The food is good value for the money. Don’t expect salt, though. They don’t carry it. We will definitely visit again.

Really delicious food, I tried the beyond meat burger, the pastrami burger, and the chili cheese fried and all are worth getting over again. I live close by and was always curious to try this place. They did not disappoint. Worth a try if you’re in the area. Prices are a bit more than regular fast food places but I think for the quality and flavor it’s worth it.
