The Pho broth was comforting. The rolls were a good contrast of fresh and meaty flavour profiles and the sauces compliments it well. The BBQ pork sandwich was refreshing and light. Serving sizes were generous and price point is affordable. Service was awesome.

We always come to Pho Song because it’s convenient and the kids love it. However, we noticed that the short ribs are getting smaller and smaller. This recent order was by far the worst it’s gotten. Literally 3 pieces had enough meat on it to actually enjoy. While the remainding ones were bones with minimal meat. Update: found a hair.

The customer service used to be 10 stars at this place. They would know your name and what your favorite dish is when you come in, very “MOM & POP” culture. The smiles and greetings were something to drive for from the valley but why drive 25 minutes when you can get the same greeting in Abbotsford.
I came one time many years when I lived near Pho Song and I returned almost immediately after trying there Pho and more so… the customer service.
When I returned for the second time and onward religiously for the foreseeable future (4 years), they knew my name and didn’t give me a menu, they just brought what I customized in my order because they remembered exactly what I ordered last time and everytime from that day forward I was never handed a menu, just smiles, greetings, and the same custom order everytime. Even when I brought new customers to them, they were handed a menu and I was asked, “The usual”? Amazing customer service and more so for always remembering my name and what I ordered last visit!!!!
Now… when I visit, they look grumpy, no greeting, you seat yourself, no first name basis, and they hand me a menu everytime acting like they have no idea what I probably am going to order.
This was not a one off incident, me and my wife in all fairness tried 3 separate times to only have our confusion confirmed that there level of customer service has definitely changed and our patronagism is not important any further pushing us to frequent our second choice of the guy down the road.
They seem to have changed there customer service level with the restaurant upgrades and commercialization of the POS system and SQUIRREL restaurant seating system that you usually would see in very large scale restaurants, not a restaurant with 10 tables in a square room LOL. It is clear that they feel more important now after what they may view as  “growth”?
It’s definitely not an issue of “new staff”, its all the same family (staff) with no new faces.
A customer should never leave an establishment asking themselves what did they do wrong as a paying customer trying to get the service I used to get!!!

I do not leave bad reviews often, but this restaurant was a bit of disappointment.

– ordered Seafood noodle

– only 4, probably store bought frozen shrimp. The menu did mention only shrimp and veggies were included, but we were expecting higher quality ingredients

– food came out in less than 1 minute. soup was not hot and flavor was bland. along with the low quality of the ingredients, it gave us the impression that they just threw all the ingredients together and called it a day

– waitress apologized and acknowledged that their seafood dishes does lack variety, but we think they could improve on what they already have

I ordered the Grilled Lemongrass Beef plate. It was the first time I saw lemongrass beef on a vietnamese menu ,so I ordered it.

It didn’t taste like beef. I don’t know what the mystery meat was ? I It was sub-standard meat, that’s for sure.

Have there been any missing pets in Pitt Meadows & Maple Ridge ?

Maybe there’s a reason lemongrass beef is never on menu at other Vietnamese restos.

I couldn’t eat the soup, there was cilantro in it, so that was Yuck.

Although the egg yolk mixed with the rice was tasty.

Server could barely speak passable English.

I randomly felt like trying some Vietnamese food, so I decided to check out this spot in downtown. Overall, it was a pretty nice experience.
I ordered their spicy and sour seafood pho — the flavor was just right, with a nice balance of tanginess and heat. It came with a good amount of toppings too, so it felt satisfying.
I also tried their spring rolls, which were decent. Nothing too surprising, but solid.
The restaurant itself isn’t very big, but it was quite busy — lots of dine-in customers and a steady stream of takeout orders.
All in all, the food was pretty average but enjoyable. Not a place I’d rave about, but definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and craving Vietnamese.

I had lunch at Pho Song Restaurant recently, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was not only well-served but the portions were incredibly generous! Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. However, the service was the friendliest I’ve ever encountered and very fast. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our meal. I highly recommend Pho Song Restaurant to anyone craving delicious food and exceptional service!

Overall, below average experience, the server was not proactive .
Menu has very few chicken and vegetarian options.
Taste was ok, not wow.

A local gem!
Small and cosy spot with divine Pho!
We ordered the rare beef with brisket, no noodles but extra veggies and it was absolutely perfect! Lots of tender beef, fresh Thai basil and the broth was delish!!
The owner is so friendly and you can tell she puts LOVE into every dish. Highly recommended!
