My wife and my family enjoyed our time at the Bracks Tavern. The restaurant is family friendly. The restaurant itself is well designed for watching a game at the bars or enjoying a meal. The service was excellent. Our server ( Mikey Gainz) was extremely friendly, personable and a great guy. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi. She said it was fresh and well prepared. With good portions. It’s a little on the lemony side. Though she likes a more creamy sauce, it was still good. My daughter ordered the flank steak, which she said was very good. Myself, I had the chicken fajitas. They came with onion and peppers. I added extra cheese which they provided at no charge. The fajitas were very good considering this isn’t a Mexican restaurant. My grandson ordered the chicken wings and fries. He said he really liked them. For desert, we ordered the brownie sundae. My wife and daughter split it as the portion was enough for two. They both enjoyed it. Overall, we found our experience very enjoyable and we’ll be back again. The entire bill was approx: 140.00 with a generous tip included. Our server,Mike,went above and beyond. A great place for a couple or even large groups. Stay thirsty my friends.

Made reservations for Valentine’s Day, at 8pm. We were seated in the bar area when it looked like many other more appropriate seating was available. We took advantage of the V-Day specials. Apps were very good but our meals were not! I had the scallops that were undercooked and the risotto was extremely salty. My valentine got the Steak Diane which was rather mushy and chewy. The waitress was kind enough to get my meal taken off the bill. Her service was amazing and made our night! Disappointed that the manager never came over to check in with us and discuss our concerns as she mentioned.

Met another couple here since it’s a good meeting spot for us all and we’ve had great luck at the Taunton location many times before. Menu is large and there was a daily specials menu too. Cal was our server & he was training Juliet (?)
They gave us ample time to peruse the menus and make choices we were all happy with. I chose a seasonal salad from the daily specials menu w/ added grilled chicken and it was delicious! My husband got the spicy fish sandwich which he said was good and not too spicy. The others got a burger and a smaller sized citrus fish entree. All were very good & no one had any complaints. :-). Cal checked in on us to refresh drinks but wasn’t intrusive at all. Only 1 had beer (Athletic non alcoholic) the rest of us had water to drink. When meal was done Cal inquired if we wanted any tea, coffee or dessert. We were all well satisfied so passed on it this time.
I should note we asked to be seated near a wall to accommodate hearing aids when we were being seated and this request was fulfilled easily. The noise level was very low and the restaurant wasn’t packed which we enjoyed. Will definitely return. Thanks Cal!

Hadn’t been in years but was in the area! Had thr mac and cheese and it was great. Ordered without the chicken and extras. No complaints but maybe next time I’ll leave room to try dessert!

My mother and I went here for Thanksgiving this year and the spread was phenomenal, I frequent the bar often as I can, love the layout of the place. Cheap pbr has brought enough friends to meet me here and we all love pbr on draft. Place is definitely a staple for meeting up with old buddies, or family. I cant wait to try the new menu and see whats going on with that. Kate the bartender also rocks. Over all 5* friendly place to hang good food cheap beer and good memories. Keep it up

Boston Tavern is a cool, casual spot with fantastic food & drinks! The walls are covered with Boston & other Massachusetts themed decor. The service is great – our waiter was very attentive & patient. Our food was delicious – I highly recommend the Shepherd’s Pie Poppers app! They have some fun seasonal cocktails as well – the Chocolate Pretzel was to die for! Highly recommend visiting Boston Tavern, though I suggest making a reservation online ahead of time as the place is hopping! Will definitely be back.

The clam chowder was delicious!! The prime rib was unfortunately a bit tough; obviously not fresh. The patty melt was very good. We were put off by the teenaged hostesses, as they were chatting in a group when we entered and they seemed bothered to take us to our table. Our server Penny was enthusiastic and friendly and a great asset to the restaurant. This place is SUPER LOUD with people talking over each other. Couldn’t converse easily across the table without raising our voices. The blueberry cheesecake was super good!!
