Service can be a bit subpar at times. It sometimes feels like guests are forgotten, though I do understand they can get very busy. Overall, I still enjoy coming here and would love to see these improvements made.
I’m sharing this for awareness and will likely delete this review once management has reviewed it.
Came in on happy hour. I got a glass of Cab Sauv that was nice and bright, an easy drinker. Partner got the menu mojito, which was very tasty. We got the spinach artichoke dip for a starter and it was delightful. Rich, creamy, and chips that had a perfect level of salt. Also. complimentary bread with oil? Yes, please!
We picked two dishes to split. Ultimately, we got the Caccio e Pepe pizza and the Tequila Chicken Linguine, and both were superb. The crust can make or break a pizza, and this one was perfect. The pasta was zesty, cooked perfectly, and had the perfect level of spice for a light kick.
Sierra made our time here, however. Spunky, fun, and the right level of chatty. Perhaps its service workers talking to another service industry worker, but she was an absolute delight. Another huge thank you to Sierra! If you get her as your server, treat her well, and she will make sure you have an awesome experience.
My only downside is my usual of being a generally social lightweight, and that its a family restaurant at the end of the day. so it can get loud and there may always be the chance of loud kids. Nothing that isn’t expected, so as someone who can have audio processing problems or be adverse to sudden loud sounds, its tolerable and you know what to expect.
One good thing about this place before I get started is they did have good lettuce wraps that that is why I have 2 stars instead of one.
I ordered chicken picatta and it came back inedible. The chicken was slimy and I couldn’t cut through it. I couldn’t even bite through it. It was nauseating. By the time they came back with a replacement my husband had finished his whole dinner. It was better, but I had to box it up and take it home because we had waited so long. I understand things happen, but there was no manager that came over to apologize, no comp for the meal, no offer for a free appetizer or a desert. Nothing. Just full price and have a nice evening. Also the portions have gotten extremely small. Huge giant bowls, but very little food in them for the increased prices. My husband was still hungry when we left. We were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. We will never come back. I don’t mind higher prices if the food and service match, but in this case neither were good. There are much batter
Places to take out hard earned money that are satisfying and a good value
We ordered a Sicilian pizza and a California veggie pizza with a flight or sangrias and a strawberry mango cooler. The pizzas are a bit small for the price but perfect for a one person portion size. They were both very good and the crust was soft, which is always something I look out for.
My drinks were also superb – especially the strawberry mango cooler, which I will definitely be going back for.
Service is quick and friendly.
