Very good service and staff. We were vegetarians but they don’t have many varieties. The tempura and veg rolls were ok but could have spiced up a bit as it was bland.

If you’re searching for authentic straight to the point sushi in Washington, this spot in Kirkland is a must-visit. The portions are huge and reasonably priced, making it a great value. The sushi is fresh and the service is warm and welcoming.

We are here for the first time and did a takeout order. We ordered tonkatsu, tempura, chicken teriyaki, cucumber salad and two desserts : red bean ice cream and coffee jello. The food was beautifully prepared and presented especially for being a take out. Everything was delicious and well balanced in flavor. The teriyaki especially was rich and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the carrot garnish which tasted like a ponzu glaze. The soup was exactly how you would expect with a fresh and rich miso the salad was crisp and fresh and refreshing. The coffee jello was a new experience for me but very light and refreshing end to a meal. Everything was supremely fresh and wonderful even down to the rice which was the best part . Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Overall the sushi was delicious but quite surprised that they used carrot for tempura.
Also, the lady who was wearing Kimono tried to passively push us to finish our dishes & get the check asap so that she could combine our table and be ready for another 5 people to be seated, but by that time we only seated for about half hour only. (She came by frequently to check on our progress and keep an eye on us from a distance which makes us feeling really pressure, end up we only took less than an hour for the dinner.)
Except the Kimono lady, other servers were very professional and attentive.

Second time at this place and it never disappoints! I just had to order the Tofu Sukiyaki again, and it was just as incredible as I remembered. The tofu and taste was absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like regulars. Our server was so friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions from the menu. This place has officially earned a spot on my ‘must-visit’ list.”

Finally found a simple and authentic Japanese restaurant in Seattle. Owners are Japanese and the ambiance is very warm and nice. Sushi was great with big portions, crispy tempura. We are sushi snobs and are very satisfied, will continue making the 30 min drive from West Seattle. Similar level of quality to Midori in Japan, simple and good.

Today was my first time there for lunch. I am nit a sushi guy but I love Beef Teriyaki. So I went for the beef teriyaki and I was so amazed by how great it was. They use New York Steak with their freshly made Teriyaki sauce. So delicious and worth the money.
The soup, salad and rice were delicious too. I enjoyed the hot tea and their great service. Setting on the counter was so much fun watching the chefs preparing the food
I will be back again. This is my new Beef Teriyaki place.

Friendly service. Very attentive. The chefs were very skilled and the quality of their food is excellent. It was super clean inside and not overstimulating. I will definitely bring others to enjoy this. Thank you. It was delicious!

Sushi quality is very good. They don’t do fancy rolls so don’t expect cooked sushi, cream cheese or other non-traditional ingredients. What they do have they do well. Soft shell crab was so-so. A bit pricey but highly recommend.

We went on a friday afternoon around 12:30 and got a table immediately for 2.
Staff were very courteous and had smiling faces.
We decided to go since I was told this is one of the authentic places for Sushi in the area.
Offered steaming hot tea after we were seated.
We ordered the potstickers (slightly burnt more than usual) which was good.
Our orders were Katsu don (with pork) and the cooked shrimp sushi. This is one of the best Miso I have tasted.
I wanted to go for more Sushi as that plate wasn’t sufficient but my wife couldn’t finish her bowl of Katsu don. Did Not try any desserts. The tea kept coming even after we were done.
I didn’t like the sushi much, maybe that’s how the authentic ones taste??!!!
I might come again to try something else for sure.
